I was glad she did show up though. I really liked Jessica. What a bad@$$! I think she and Will had great chemistry.

That's pretty sad, isn't it?

Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "I was glad she did show up though. I really liked Jessica. What a bad@$$! I think she and Will had great chemistry."She was. I don't ever see a romantic relationship between her and Will, it seems more brother/sister, but someone who can understand the bad things that they do.
I think their chemistry is not necessarily sexual, but they have a rhythm together and understand each other very well. I really liked that about the story. She's a good counterpart for Will, and vice versa. I haven't decided if they will have a romantic relationship. I wouldn't rule it out. Though.
I just finished
which I really liked. It's UF w/a kickass hero but no romance (at least not yet. it's the first book in a series)I'm starting
which I had been wanting to read & ended up winning a free copy of. (wahoo!!!)
Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "♥ Ashleigh ♥ wrote: "well I finished two books

if I was on that tape/if I was clay I would totally give it to the cops or something and hopefully get those people done for all the crap things they did.
I attempted and failed to read
I just cant seem to get into it.now im reading
how wicked is the cover? anyways so far its not to bad, not great but im not dying of boredom
Finished two more books.
- 3★'s, Superficial world building and characterization but the plot has potential and the climax and resolution are riveting. And
- 3.5★'s, preferred Fool Moon. This installment has some things that really irritated me. I finally understand why some reviewers criticize Harry for his chauvinism. Now reading
and listening to
I'm about half way through
This book is just meh for me. Definately not hot, maybe lukewarm. On the plus side the guy on the cover is hot.
its taking me forever to read
so I might put it down for a bit and get a head start on
before it has to go back to the library.
Just finished these this weekend
Great Vampire Fun,
Hot Alpha Cop and Sassy Woman Fun, and
Nurse meets hot pro Quarterback fun. These are all really wonderful reads. I feel lucky.
Finishing up
It's been really good. I dont' want to spoiler anything but I will say that I really liked the love story in this one.
I'm looking forward to Heart of Obsidian, but I still have two book in front of it. I'm glad she's back to the Psy storyline, which is my favorite.

I just finished
and
, and enjoyed them both!
I needed something light after the intensity of the Psy LOL!

I'm 70% of the way through Officer Off Limits by Tessa Bailey. It's the 3rd book in the Line of Duty series and all three books are steamy, steamy, steamy. Those cops are hawt!!!
I'm reading
, and it's pretty good. Lots of action and yummy guys. I like Celia and her sisters. At first I thought it would be too goofy, but I'm liking the humor.

Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "Sounds good, Darcy. Thanks for the heads up!"Sure thing.
I'm listening to
It's not working for me on audio. It's going so slow. Think I'm going to head to the library & try to get the book. I've heard so many good things about it but I feel like I'm stuck in the middle.

Was up most of the night finishing it. What a heart wrenching book. (I would have rather read it but still glad I finished it or I would have missed a great story)
Alisa wrote: "I got to the "big shocker" part and couldn't stop. Was up most of the night finishing it. What a heart wrenching book. I think this is one of those books that when/if you re-read you will notice more things.
Do you plan on reading the next one?
@Darcy....right now I would say no but Ive heard the next one is better. For some reason this book just wrecked me emotionally. I cried off & on from "the incident" until the end. I don't like being all emotional over books which is why I usually stick to PNR & UF. I need some vampire smut to repair my mood. LOL
@Darcy.......and you know it did cross my mind a few times what the secret was but then I would think "no that's too horrible to actually happen"

Have you tried
? If not, when you are looking for another type of this kind of book check it out.
@Darcy...thx. I added that book to my tbr list. I would love like to see there be a third book about Cain, the strip club owner. His character has the potential to be a great story.

I just finished
It was a sweet love story about a girl & a ghost. I know that sounds weird but it worked welll in the story.
Recently finished
(so good!) and just started
.The first is historical and the second time travel; both take place in the middle ages. Some similarities to the storylines, but both have dangerous heroes! ☺
