Also read Old Man's War and while sci-fi is generally not my cup of tea I really enjoyed all the philosophical questions the book invokes and while some minor annoyances prevent it from being amazing, it was a really good novel and I'm looking forward to reading more of the series. You can read my full review here.
Next up I'll be reading The Damnation Game because... well, because random.org said 289 and that was its number in my to read list!

I finished The Curse of Chalion last night. There was a lot of stop and go between the big events I felt. Sometimes it just took too long for it to get exciting, but it was still a pretty good story.
Going back to the Deepgate Codex series now with Iron Angel

Anyway, it became one of my all-time favorite books and I'm looking for more fantasy so I'll take a look at everyone's reading material.

I'll be reading The Ghost Brigades as I really enjoyed Old Man's War and truly need something good to read so I can forget The Damnation Game ever existed.

Oh, I do hope you enjoy it! This is my favorite series!

Well, I'm 200 pages in and I'm glad it's not a slow-paced book. Which is kind of what I expected, judging from the size of it.
I must say it's a good read so far! very enjoyable!

Oh..."
No, there's lots of action! You'll be wrung out by the end.

I'll be reading Sharp Objects next. I really need to start trimming down my horror to read list.

I just started Fool's Errand the first of the Tawny Man trilogy by Robin Hobb, I just finished The Liveship Traders trilogy & previous to that the Farseer Trilogy, just loving all of them!

Just started The Last Colony, which I'm quite excited about as I loved the first two books in the series.

Other memorable reads include the first two in the Patrick Hedstrom mystery series by Camilla Lackburg, The Preacher and The Ice Princess, and The Cold Cold Ground. I do like mysteries as well as fantasy. I also enjoyed Wool Omnibus, a fascinating scifi.

All I can do is work.
;)
I've been trying to get back to Janny's books."
Well it's one advantage of being OLD and semi-retired. I still work 3 days a week so I don't go crazy. :)

After putting it off for way longer than I probably should've, going to read The Blade Itself next.

My first fantasy read!
Sandra, I've been thinking of a reread, ideally times to fit in with the end of the series though. Fancy Wool too.
Alexa, are you joining in on the threads in the sister group?

So now I've started a historical fiction, Moloka'i by Alan Brennert. I love to visit Hawaii, so I'm all over this setting :)

Going to read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy next. (shame on me for not having read it before!)

I read the Mistborn trilogy prior to WoK. I've loved everything Sanderson has put out. He is a special talent, indeed.
