Lindsay, that is awesome!!! :D

Just looked at your blog yesterday...it's looking really good!
Greta-I hope your son has a wonderful birthday!

thank you! he had a great party at school this morning amd we'll have a family party this evening at home.
I loved having a little party at school, but apparently no one else did, because we don't do them anymore :( things just aren't as fun once you get to 6th grade!

I used to love the parties at school.
Though, the last school party i had was when i was 7, and the teacher dropped my cake. :(

Aw. :( Hope you feel better soon!
At least it gives you an excuse to buy more books. :D
I hate getting teeth pulled! Three years ago I had to get 7 pulled in one day, that hurt a lot!

I had two of my wisdom teeth pulled out in preparation for a jaw surgery, and was terrified of the whole thing. Then I discovered the wonders of gas sedation.

Aw. :( Hope you feel better soon!
At least it gives you an excuse to buy more books. :D"
Thanks! Lol I should use that as an excuse to buy more books, but I have a huge pile of hardcovers waiting to be read and over 50 books on my kindle that I need to get to so I'm holding off on book buying for the time being. I am going to go lay down and read after I write a review though :)
Hope your mouth feels better Jalyn!
Just found out today that my great-grandma died :( she was 87, so lived a good long life. She never had to leave her house her whole life, so she was healthy and well for a while and then her heart just stopped. The funerals on Friday, and I'm kind of scared. What happens at funerals? This'll be my first one!

Awe I'm sorry to hear that Sarah. If where you live is similar to where I live then typically there's a line of people standing next to the casket who were close to the person who died. You basically wait in line to see you're great-grandma if there's an open casket and give your condolences to the people who were closest to her. If there isn't an open casket (or if she was cremated) then you probably still wait in line to give your condolences. You'll basically just give the people closest to her a hug. You could always say something like "She lived a long and happy life." or something along those lines if you'd like. I'd advise you to take some tissues just in case. You'll do fine. Just comfort the people you love if you can and allow others to help comfort you if you need it.

lol, Abbie, your teacher dropped your cake??!!! so funny!
Greta, a very happy birthday to your son! childhood birthdays were the best!! :D
Jalyn, I hope you feel better!
So I get my first (of two) allergy tests today. This one is for food because that's what I believe I have an allergy to. However I hate needles and this test is almost 60 needles. The other test, the environmental one is one Tuesday.

Congrats Mishma!
You can now watch The Host on Saturday! :)

Yay! Hope you have some good books to read lined up :)

Thank you! I think he had a good day!

That sux Lindsey. When I was a kid I had allergy shots twice a week for eight years!

I do,Greta.I can't wait to read all those books I have in my to read list:)
I AM SO MAD! I saw the Beautiful Creatures trailer again, and they messed up so many things! Ridley is supposed to be blonde, Lena doesn't have her birthmark, Ridley doesn't have her lollipop, which to me was like the funniest thing in the plot...ugh...so upset with the filmmakers!

I didn't like the books all that much, But the Movie trailer made me mad too.
I always imagined Ridley too look like Ke$ha but with a lollipop. Aha.
And i always imagined Lena to have pitch black hair and a full fringe. The girl that plays her does have black hair, but it's not really dark.
They got Ethan okay though..
I liked Ethan...but when everyone started talking, I was like "why are they southern?" Then I was like ooohhhhh! Haha dumb moment, I'm blonde SOOOO....
Haha yeah! I thought she was great, even if she didn't look the part

EDIT: I should probably say that this series is one of my favorite series so that's why I feel so strongly about the movie.

Everyone gets really excited about them, and i'm just sitting here panicking that they're going to butcher it.
Everyone LOVED The hunger games movie, but i thought it was a let down to the book. It wasn't awful, but nowhere near as good as the book.
The friendship between Katniss and Rue was annoying, Because in the books, you really saw their friendship blossom, whereas, in the movie it was more like "Hi, I'm rue" -dies-" :(
Ridley was by far the best character in Beautiful creatures to me. I loved her nicknames, and they way you saw her vulnerable side later on in the books.
I loved the first book and am reading the rest, and I feel like I can't go see the movie because of how much I loved the book! I hate seeing sucky movies of books I love so much! Like Percy Jackson, The Narnia movies...ugh, we should just be hired to make all this films so they aren't crap lol

Lol I know right?!?! They should hire bookies like us. We would be able to cut out the things that aren't as important while keeping the main storyline the same and we would make sure all of the crucial moments are captured perfectly!
If I were to ever write a book, I would never sell the movie rights. The only way I would is if I could write the screenplay, choose the cast and have a say in the filming. There is just no way I would let someone butcher a book I wrote.

The Hunger Games didn't bother me as much as it would have if I had read it recently, but it had been a long time and I had forgotten a lot of the details so I enjoyed the movie. I try to put at least a year between reading a book and seeing the movie or I get seething mad. I read Beautiful Creatures (for the umpteenth time) in October. It was still kind of fresh in my mind when I watched it.
