We've got problems with it too, not upgrading this laptop because of it.

Im sorry to hear that. Why people say, someone cheated, it must be the fault of the person they cheated on, or the fault of the person they cheated with. Then they yell at the one theve chosen to blame and get onto anybody that knows them for it without stoping to blame the only person who is really at fault, the actrual cheater. Makes no since to me. I've even seen both sides fight over the person who cheaton on both sides. As if there worth something.

Wanted to thank the amazing mods for having some amazing challenges this summer. I decided to enter in the adult summer reading program at my local library since I was planning to read a lot for the challenges. Got a call informing me that I was a grand prize winner ( raffle drawing - one ticket per two books) of an amazing basket with amazing goodies that also included gift cards to local restaurants by my house. And it's cause of the challenges I read so much which allowed a lot of tickets for the raffle.

I don't know how to post pictures but added a picture of the goodies I won to my profile. https://www.goodreads.com/photo/user/...

How did it go?

message 6067: by Grace (new)

Grace Tenkay (gracie28) I run really big databases, work like crazy but at least have the weekends off. Love historical fiction and some young adult if it is not too sappy.

message 6068: by Connie (new)

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments I'm in mourning that I can't bring my books with me when I move out for uni :'(

A bedroom isn't a bedroom without bookshelves, I just have to bring up five or so books every week when I'm down visiting home!

At least I'll have my trusty kindle if I get a good reading week ;)

message 6069: by Tati (new)

Tati Connie, when I went to England for a year, I couldn't take any books with me, nor could I buy books for that whole year, and I didn't have my Kindle back then. I survived thanks to my iPod touch

Jora Jordan | 260 comments So i feel a little overwelmed with the amount of reading i have to get through this month, even though im pretty sure its possible, it just feels like to much because everything came in at the same time so im looking at a stack almost a foot thick of reading this month.

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments I bought a lamp today.

What an adult thing to purchase. A lamp.

Though I did find a copy of Eleanor and Park in a charity shop for 10p so that cheered me up

Not for college, just books i requested through interlibrary loans, they just all came in at the same time. And I don't have much time with them.

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments Is anybody else shelves a mess post MMC? I'm spending the next two hours sorting mine out! I can't take the mess I made lol

message 6085: by Tati (new)

Tati No, mine are okay. I only have to delete the MMC shelf and that'll be it for me

message 6086: by Connie (new)

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments I meant my actual like legit bookshelves. Mine are so messy because I kept just throwing books back to grab another D:

lol. Mine are too! But that's also because I don't have enough shelves to fit all my books on. About half of my teen/YA books have no home. :(

message 6088: by Tati (last edited Sep 03, 2015 12:05PM) (new)

Tati Aaaah, sorry, I get it now.

All I read is on my Kindle, so no messy shelves

I saw your tweet! my entire house is a mess ha ha! I totally quit doing housework to do the MMC, and then looked at my house today and thought lots of 4 letter words!

Snap, and then i regret doing it halfway through because i've spent hours doing it and still have books eveywhere!

message 6094: by Connie (new)

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments If I didn't love my book collection so much I'd definitely just have all my books on kindle to save the agony! But I'm a hoarder what can I say lol

message 6095: by Jora Jordan (new)

Jora Jordan | 260 comments We can't let our book shelves get out of order. Theres just too many books. We would never be able to find anything. Our selves are organized like the library. Personal, family, children, non fiction, fiction, and manga, then each of thoes is organized alphabetically by the author's last name. But we have at least 1700 books. So organizaton is very important.
