My mom loves the Beverly Lewis series, so I picked one up once at her urging, but it wasn't my thing either. I think it's the kind of book you either love or hate. No shame in leaving it for someone else to enjoy! :)

Oh well on to the next one
Just finished up my 3rd read for the year,
. I'm done for the night, I think. I'll be picking up something new tomorrow. =)
doesn't have any other editions other than the e-book, would it still count? Amazon says it has 593 pageshttp://www.amazon.com/Other-Systems-e...

YAY Karen!!!! I don't do it often it just depends on what I have on hand, how good the books are and how much free time I have ☺
Wow, some of you guys are speed readers!!!!I could never read 3 entire books in one day (unless perhaps they were graphic novels, but they don't count here!!)
At most, I can do a book every 2-3 days, although I have been known to read a chick-lit or YA in a day. I only signed up for a book a week because this year I wanted to tackle some longer books on my shelves.....too bad we don't get points for # of pages read.

Yay! Just finished my first book of the year, a little slower of a start to the year than I'd hoped, but yesterday & Jan 1st were pretty much no-man's land in terms of progress!
Finished book 2 - Job from Hell - gave it 4 stars. may go and read the rest of the series (2-6) later. Number 3 is the start of Shifters series by Rachel Vincent. Plan on all 6 books in the series. Think these will be a quick read for me. Hers usually are and good to read.
Current update :

Team B:59
Team C:65

Go us - looking good there. Best I can usually do is a book in 2/3 days. Wish I could get through a book a day or more, but no chance of that happening. :o(
I've been making the most of being on holiday (admittedly at the expense of some of my revision :S) and read 7 books this month already. That'll probably drop off after tomorrow when I go back to uni but I will hopefully still manage a few a week.
Finished my audiobook last night
. Wasn't as good as I was hoping for. Used to LOVE her show as a kid. She sure had some sadness in her life; conversely, there wasn't much depth to this book. Knew some of it, because I watched her bio on the Biography channel. Enjoyed hearing her read it, though.Went ahead and finished
early this morning, though it wasn't holding my interest. Too bad, too, because I special ordered it. Love "mail-order-bride" books and needed it for another challenge, only to realize it does NOT have the word "bride" in the title. Duh! Must be tired. LOL!

LMBO...I know...it's only SOMETIMES for me too ☺ I am taking advantage of my time off between jobs right now because I don't know exactly what my new work hours are going to be ☺
