This book is amazing and a quick read! I just read it very recently, the second one will be one of my first ones for 2013 =)

My first book for the year will be

Oh yes, and captain... Hmm.
Who is free enough to take up the position?

My first read is probably going to be The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski. Heard good things about it.

Love this book, Amy! Hope you enjoy it. :-D

Thanks, I can't wait to read it. I've still got to finish

Should we come up with a name?
Also, maybe Mary should be our leader :D
Alexa: Happy new year! Have fun with that book, I did love it quite a bit.

I don't mind taking up the position. It might be easier for me to keep up with all the members than someone else. Is anyone else interested, though?

I'm going to attempt to send out a message to all the Team A members reminding them to officially join the challenge on NBRC's main page. Hopefully it'll go to the right people.
Would anybody like to volunteer to be my helper? ;-) I'm planning on posting status updates each week, but if I can't get to it for any reason (or I forget), I'd love for someone to help me with it.
Finished my first book of 2013! Starting on the next one today. Hope to have it done within 48 hours!

Some of these members have their profiles set to private, so it could be that they aren't showing up. *shrug* If they don't join by tomorrow, I'll try to get out PMs.
Reminders:
1. Tag ALL books you read to your special bookshelf so we can get credit for them (provided they are >170 pages, aren't graphic novels, manga, or children's picture books). Hint: make your bookshelf sticky.
2. Your books must have a "date started" and a "date finished" or they won't count.

Also, is there a setting somewhere that will make the date added match the date read?
Thanks!

Ashley you can change the columns visible on the shelf settings, so if you don't need the date added, you can turn it off and show date started instead
About the settings for matching both dates, I don't have a clue, sorry

Oh cool. I had no idea you could do that. Thanks!

If you mark a book as "currently reading" at the same time you add it to your list, the "date started" and the "date added" should be the same.

Good to know! I usually don't mark books as currently reading. I will have to start doing that. Just when I was starting to think I knew all the important things about using Goodreads I get proven wrong. Thanks!

oh, I was thinking of adding the book to the list after I finished reading it, didn't know it has to be in the list while I am reading it o:
