Hi im charlotte, I am a fan any book with a strong female lead. My favorite book is Faith of the fallen because kahlan, cara AND nicci all kick ass :D
Hello! I'm Ashrakat and I enjoy almost every book with a strong heroine. My favorites are The Infernal Devices trilogy, Divergent, Percy Jackson, and of course Harry Potter. ^_^
ello everbody (sadly I'm not british though I wish I was... then I would never shut up :) )My favorite books are Divergent, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and yes yes Percy Jackson, and all books by Bryan Davis (AMAZING AUTHOR!).
My favorite Heriones are Tris, Harry Potter, Katniss, Annabeth and Elizabeth Bennet (I know she's not someone who uses a bow or knife but I could totally see her kicking butt in some of these books)
My favorite types of books... um Fantasy, Sci-fy... yeah pretty much those.
Hello!I am Hannah. My favourite book are pretty varied but they would be the book thief and lots of others and the book thief. I love Markus Zusak. I also love heaps of other authors and I need some recommendations cause I need to get back into my reading again! I read anything. And i mean anything.

Hello! I am Adrita, an adult who enjoys reading YA novels. I have been mocked for being a fan of Twilight since I was younger and I try not to care. It was Twilight really that brought me to this genre because I used to only read more mature fiction before then. I read every single thing Maureen Johnson has ever written. I am also a huge fan of The Mortal Instruments series, the Hunger Games trilogy, the Tithe series, The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks and Blood & Chocolate.
welcome Adrita I am also an adult at least thats what i'm told lol I love these books hope you have a great time here and find many good book

Hey.... Jillian is who most know me as, but the name I here most often is mommy! My Favorite book so far is Divergent (and insurgent, and probably the one following that), but that may be closely tied to the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices series.... Tris is everything good - she has the perfect upbringing to lead her in good choices and now that she is following the bolder side of herself in dauntless she has the ability to be as great a leader as any. So, for now, she is my fav heroine. And For all that Veronica Roth is my fav author - a close second is Cassandra Clare. And I love reading YA Dystopian fiction.
Hi. I'm Kylie and I'm also an adult YA reader. I read adult books as well. I'm a kiwi, a solo-mother of three and a Uni student. I'm on semester break at the moment so I'm going to try fit in all the reading I can. My favourite YA heroine of all time is Alana from the song of the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce. The last book I read was Easy by Tammara Webber it was really good but more suited to older young adults, e.g. I wouldn't let my daughter read it till she is 15 or 16, depending on her maturity at the time, but it was the first contemporary novel I've read in a long time. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it because I'm usually a paranormal reader. Another YA series that I really enjoyed lately was The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare, personally I prefered them over the Mortal Instrument series, although I still like those. I think I've written quite a lot in comparison to the other introductions so I'll stop now before I get to carried away.
HI! My name is Anna, and I am a HUGE fan of ALL the Tamora Pierce books! I cannot wait to find great recommendations from this group!

*looks around nervously*Hey everyone!
I'm Sana and my favorite books are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Inheritance Cycle, Iron fey series, Infernal devices, The fault in our Stars and maaaaaaaaaany moreeeeeeeee...
My favourite herion since I just finished reading Eragon so it will be Arya because she is an Elf! how cool plus she has ancient knowledge and can slay every Urgal who dares to even look at the new Rider. :)
I'll read any good book except I cant tolerate too much romance.. :D
)
Well, I'm way late to the game, but thought I'd say hello anyway.
My name's Amber Turner and I'm so happy to see a group like this! I make it a point to only read fiction of any genre with strong female characters and I only write those types, too (it's probably the feminist in me). It's nice to see so many YA books creating inspiring female characters for today's young women. My fave kick butt heroines (besides my own) are Maggie Quinn and her friend Lisa from Rosemary Clement-Moore.
Loving the book recs here - feel free to stop by my page and leave more :)

Hi! I'm Kayla, I'm a 15-year-old girl from the Philippines and I run a book blog called The Bookish Owl. I've loved literature ever since I was introduced to the Harry Potter series at age 5. Besides literature, I also love rock music, history and traveling. My all time favorite YA heroine is Hermione Granger although I also love Violet Baudelaire and Lena Halloway. So far, I'm really liking this group!
Hello, everyone :)My name is Renae, I'm 19 and live in The Forgotten part of Australia (W.A)
I'm glad I found this group because I love strong, butt-kicking female characters such as Rose Hathaway (who is probably my all time favourite character,) Katniss Everdeen, Allison Sekemoto, Tris Prior and Hermione Granger.
I'm sick of picking up books with a pretty cover and ugly insides. Insta-love and love triangles no longer work for me. So, I love getting recommendations :)
Hey Renae! Feel free to look around the group and start discussing books! We currently have a giveaway running for the group, if you like to enter. We also recently set up a featured books of the week folder. We would much appreciate it if you would drop by that area! It's not getting much attention.
Hi, I'm Leo. I'm a huge Potterhead, and needless to say, my favourite heroine is Hermione Granger.I read and enjoy a little bit of everything, but I have a soft spot for fantasy and mystery. And I have a sort-of love hate relationship with romance. I like to think that I am a romantic, and I do enjoy the tasteful dashes of romance here and there. However, more often than not I find myself being supplied with too much romance while there are still many other aspects of the story being neglected :(
Hello! I'm New, Obviously, and I love YA Books. my favorite book is a tie between Clockwork Princess and Prince. My favorite Heroin is Clary Fray! My favorite genre is fantasy and romance, You know cause I'm forever alone. and I like adventures, so I feel like I'm doing something while achieving couch potato status
Hey everybody!My name's Francine and well.. I'm new. :)
Favourite heroine? Hmm.. The first that comes to mind is Rose Hathaway, from the Vampire Academy series. And there's no way I can choose a favorite book... Cause well, i'd have to write a list & I wouldn't want to bore anyone. I love reading anything and everything YA, so recommendations are very welcome!
