Diane | 366 comments I am going for a smaller number of books than in 2012. I plan to hit about 100 in 2013. For me, I prefer to have the book actually set in the country as opposed to an author from the country. I prefer to have both, but purist I'm not, so really anything goes. Tanya (mom's small victories) (momssmallvictories) | 33 comments Looks like a great list. The Count of Monte Cristo is my all time favorite classic so Three Musketeers will be on my list for France as well. Good luck with the challenge and I look forward to reading your reviews next year!

Tanya (mom's small victories) (momssmallvictories) | 33 comments Oh and I read Strength in What Remains this year as well. It was one of those books that had parts that stay with you. What a remarkable journey, enjoy!

Thank you! I really look forward to reading it. Both of those books have been on my tbr forever. I have been avoiding them because of their length.

Diane | 366 comments I hit every country and major non-country last year, but I have a few tiny land masses that I didn't visit that I want to read books from this year. If anybody has any good recommendations for the following places, please let me know:

New Caledonia

Legends of New Caledonia: A Collection of Legends from the Isle of Pines

Also, try here for your South Pacific locales:

I've ordered from them before and had good service (though you need a large enough order to make the shipping cost worthwhile).
