A-Z Super Series Challenge 2013

A to Z: Super Series Challenge
Duration: One Year From Your Start Date

Read 1 book for each letter of the alphabet from a series beginning with that letter, title or author's first/last name. You may read any number from the series. If you are in the middle of the series, read the next book. If you haven't started one yet, read the first. If a new book is coming out this year, read it.

There are a couple of levels to this challenge.

Citizen: Read 1 book for each letter/series. 26 total.

Sidekick: Read 2 books from each letter/series. 52 total.

Superhero: Read the whole series (one series per letter) If you've already started a series, that counts. You do not have to go back and re-read the beginning. You need to finish the series from whatever point you started at through this year. Totals will vary.

Minion: Read any book from a series regardless of the title or author. You are the bad guy after all! You don’t follow the rules of the good guys. 26 total.

Supervillain: Read any book from a series regardless of the title or author. Finish all the series (plural) on your TBR. You can’t let the superhero get the best of you! Totals will vary.

You may join this challenge any time during the year. Have fun getting through those series!

Yes, Miss Manvir, if they are >110 pages (26,400 words); otherwise you have to read two novellas in the series to count.

Sorry, Miss ShoSho, no. That would only count for "L."

EXCEPTION LETTERS: "X" and "Z" may be anywhere within the title.

You do NOT have to finish off all the "in-between" novellas and short stories to have the series considered "read" and/or finished.

I decided to start now because I started some new series and continuing some that I already started. Might as well go ahead and get going on it because I may fall behind AGAIN!!! LOL

Oh Robin! I know all about falling behind. I did this challenge this year and I am not going to be able to complete it. I have 8 books left and there is NO WAY I can finish them :(

Susan I'm definitely right there with ya. I got wayyyyyyyyyyy behind in a lot of my challenges. The problem is we see all these good challenges and hate to not join in LOL and then we get soooo bogged down it's almost impossible to keep up with them all. So, I've come to the conclusion that I will just keep joining and finish them when I finish them LOLOLOL I look at it as a way to keep up/chat with my GR friends, see what everyone is reading and just have fun even if I fall behind ☺

I'm socializing with some great people,laughing,having fun,talking about books,reading,and joining way to many challenges....I don't think any really cares(but me,and I don't count LMAO) if I finish my challenges in a timely manner ☺ because I KNOW there are many others walking in my same shoes when it comes to challengs and I don't care if they finish as long as they are reading and having fun!!!!!!!
