Catherine | 5067 comments you guys...always forget me! see post 31 :(

message 104: by Lara (new)

Lara | 676 comments Catherine, all the books have to be newly published in 2013, and you have to read 1+ each month. The book(s) you read do not have to be published in that month (except January, of course). Does that answer your question?

message 105: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 5067 comments I know...but I posted a while ago...and just strted adding my books...all the ones I listed so far have been(or will be published) this year! I am on it! lol already have The Husband List under way!

message 106: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 5067 comments my point was....simply that I was never added to the list of participants...that's all :( it's happened before in other challenges...I have had to give a freindly "nudge"....no worries :)

message 107: by Lara (new)

Lara | 676 comments Yeah, I saw that too, but wasn't sure that was what you meant. I would be a horrible moderator because I'd miss things (and people) all over the place.

message 108: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 5067 comments lol....no worries....it happens...I am reading so much...sometimes forget to come here to update! lol :)

Christal (or anyone that knows) - how do you get those nice black filled-in stars that you put by the books you read? I can only get the asterisk one.

message 119: by Jex (new)

Jex (jexball) | 2227 comments Level 2 (The Memory Chronicles, #1) by Lenore Appelhans - ★★☆☆☆

Just finished. Not a fan at all. I felt the book sold itself like a dystopian novel but was more about figuring out how to move your soul on to the next level by viewing memories from your life. It all takes place in the afterlife. It definitely skirted around religious topics too much for me. I can deal with talk of angels and demons but this went further then that. On top of that, I was just bored. I won't be reading the next in the series.

message 120: by Jex (new)

Jex (jexball) | 2227 comments Timekeeper came out Jan 8th. The first in the series wasn't too bad so I might take a look at this one.

Here's a trailer for the book: http://youtu.be/w-_hnrNjZb0

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 450 comments Question,I'm sure this was asked, but I can't seem to find it, does it have to be a newly released book in 2013 or do rereleases count? For example, I picked up Frankly, My Dear by Sandra Hill this morning, but the original publishing date in 1996?

I'm pretty sure it has to be newly released in 2013

Lisarenee | 7659 comments lol Nope. Wanted everyone to know you're special and make sure you saw yourself. I considered putting stars around your name, but thought you might not recognize yourself and think it was someone else so I opted to bold you. :)

message 145: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (theashoxford) | 29 comments I read Dream Eyes by Jayne Ann Krentz in January but couldn't really get into it. It started off great but really fell off from there.

message 146: by Lara (new)

Lara | 676 comments Dream Eyes is pretty formulaic. And it was not quite as good as the first book in the series, Copper Beach. But, the formula and plot recycling came from earlier books I really liked, so bringing them back was pleasant for me.

message 147: by Sandy (new)

Sandy | 110 comments I thought thatDream Eyes was just OK. I also read Soul Avenged by Keri Lake which I really enjoyed. It's an action packed UF about the fight between Lycans and a group of people who've been trained to hunt them.
