Actually, I have The Devil and the Deep by Amy Andrews for my AA, and I've been on a Harlequin Presents kick lately, but I can't remember where I put that book! LOL! Better check the freezer.

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 752 comments I used Good Groom Hunting (Misadventures in Matrimony, #2) by Shana Galen for GG. Good book. I didn't read the first one and had no trouble following. The characters just know each other.

message 278: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments I hadn't seen that, thanks Susan. Unfortunately, it doesn't count because its two characters. Needs to be just one.

message 279: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments I'm stuck on my c book, but reading Gone Girl for book club. I know it won't count for my own G book, but I would highly recommend it if anyone else needs a g.

message 280: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments CaroB Crystal Cove

message 281: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments Oh thanks Elishia, I'm reading a C book, I meant I'm stuck reading it. It's a paperback, and I keep forgetting to take it with me, or I start a text-to-speech book on my kindle on my way to work (20 minutes drive to work with no interrupting kids in the backseat brings me new "reading" opportunities) and then by the time I get home I'm 40 minutes into another book and I don't pick my paperback up again for awhile... Lol, I'm just whingeing really :-)

Do you know how I finished it? I had a sleepless night , I woke up at around 3 am and I had that book on my bedside table so I started reading and kept reading, I took with me on the train (I almost cried on the train , took a really strong will to not to actually cry) and finished when I got to work around 8 am !

I'm stuck on EE ,any suggestion?

message 287: by Manvir (new)

Manvir (lucyheartfilia) I can't wait. I've read all the Parasol Protectorate books. I adore Gail Carriger's dry humor.

message 288: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments I'm thinking if to stop and read the last book even though this is set before, i've noticed 2 characters so far that I didn't realise knew each other before so think i've missed something.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Karen wrote: "I thought you did read it with us didnt you?"

Nah. I was going to. I have the audio CDs out to put in my car and everything. However, I just read it (paperback) about a year ago...and I have so many other books to get to ...that I haven't. Sorry.
