It's probably good that you didn't read Tempest’s Fury - I heard it ends with a cliffhanger. I'm waiting until the last book of the series (I think) comes out in 2013 so I can read both at once.
Glad you liked Before I Wake - I started the first last night and quite enjoying it.
For myself I only really said I'd read Fury's Kiss which of course I did and loved! I don't tend to set targets myself because I never reach them but I did read just under 30 books that were published in 2012. Most of them I really enjoyed :)

For those left on your TBR, do you plan to read them or have you changed your mind?

My resolution next year would be to carry on with series I've already started. So far since October I have completed two series (which have come to an end) and caught up with

"always a relief and sadness when a series comes to the end" ~~ That's it exactly. I hate it when they end (for the most part), but it is a bit of relief because that's one less to keep up with.

As for series ending...sometimes it's exactly the time to finish...while it's still good.
