TBR in 2013: (14)
When Sandra asked, What books are a MUST for 2012? I mentioned my favorites, but also noted that I'd like to start these new series:
Of that list, I have only started three so far:
(Angel is actually book2)I'm adding (most of) these to my TBR in 2013 list.
Well done, Steph! You read quite a lot of them :DIt's probably good that you didn't read Tempest’s Fury - I heard it ends with a cliffhanger. I'm waiting until the last book of the series (I think) comes out in 2013 so I can read both at once.
Glad you liked Before I Wake - I started the first last night and quite enjoying it.
For myself I only really said I'd read Fury's Kiss which of course I did and loved! I don't tend to set targets myself because I never reach them but I did read just under 30 books that were published in 2012. Most of them I really enjoyed :)
I'm surprised. I actually ended up reading 16 out of the 22 books I listed for my 2012 Wishlist (& two I deleted from my TBR for reasons such as horrific reviews). Out of those 16, my favorites were:
Out of those 16, my big disappointments were:
Out of the 4 remaining on my TBR (excluding the 2 I removed), I plan to read these in 2013:
With the check/balance challenge...I tried to read previously owned books so I'm not as up-to-date but whatever...my purse feels better.Read (35)

TBR in 2013 (21)
Looks like we all did well as far reading those we predicted we would. For those left on your TBR, do you plan to read them or have you changed your mind?
For my TBR in general, I rarely take anything off of it. In fact, I can't actually think of a book that I've removed though I do mentally put some down towards the bottom of the pile for various reasons. The only books I might have changed my mind on are series I've abandoned. My resolution next year would be to carry on with series I've already started. So far since October I have completed two series (which have come to an end) and caught up with
WTG, Josie! I start off every year saying I'll finish up my ongoing series (or at least catch-up). For some, I do, most ... not so much. "always a relief and sadness when a series comes to the end" ~~ That's it exactly. I hate it when they end (for the most part), but it is a bit of relief because that's one less to keep up with.
Since I put mu list of series up on this group...I feel a bit more inclined to try to finish series. There is something to be said when you have around 70 series you say you like and want to finish....and don't.As for series ending...sometimes it's exactly the time to finish...while it's still good.
