You got the egg one right :) not the other one! (they wouldnt be called survivors if they'd just been hanging around now would they :))

I think the other two have already been answered here, so I'll avoid repeating them.

Riddle #2 hasn't been solved yet. But you got one right!

What am I?

Yes! I found it so funny! Especially whenever gollum was talking to himself...
"Shut up!"
"I didn't say anything."
"I wasn't talking to you!"

The letter E

The river

What am I?"
Dawn.
Landon wrote: "Yup. Here are some sea riddles. "Although Barbra was not a large woman people were always surpirsed by what she wheighed." Why?"
She was weighing the anchor?
She was weighing the anchor?

Going back to puzzle 2, is it to do with the "every single person died", but maybe the "married ones" didn't?

Sorry, no! That's reaching a little bit. The answer is stupid, but simple.

Yes :D. Stupid, like I said.

She was weighing the anchor?"
Wow! You're good! Most people can't answer that one to save their lives.
And, yes the answer is dawn. Any answers to any of my other ones?

I wish! I really want to know the answer to your riddle about the sisters
Sami wrote: "Landon wrote: "Any answers to any of my other ones?"
The sisters is a tricky one - the only thing I though of so far was two drops of water combining to make one. Or the confluence of two rivers?
I'll try to think some riddles up - I think that you two are good, as it is a sight harder inventing riddles than solving them!

Softer than a feather and harder than diamonds.
Warmer than water left in the sun and colder than ice in the arctic.
Stolen often, given often, broken often and never mended
What is it? (there might be some technical issues with this one...)

Andy, so far all my riddles have been quotes. Although I did used to make them up before, when I'd run out and people still wanted some.
Here's another very common one
what occurs once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?

Since I got one wrong, I guess that Gollum has eaten me so I probably shouldn't guess any more! Landon's last two are tricky. The "God created it" I can't find anything that fits (it is funny how you "know" inside when an answer is right). The only things I can come up with, which don't really work, are "fundamental things" like "life" or "existence" or "matter". The other one "to solve me is to gain me", I don't have a good answer either.....knowledge is the only guess I could make, but no confidence in it.

1. I am like an eagle strutting in a line, my beak before, my eyes behind. What am I?
2. One night, a king and a queen got into a boat. The next morning, three people came out. How is this possible? (Hint: She's NOT pregnant)
3. Inside a castle is a room. Inside the room is a table. On the table are three cups, two of which are full. What is the name of the king?
4. They call me a man, but I'll never have a wife. They gave me a body, but I'll never have a life. They gave me a mouth, but I'll never take a breath. The water brings me life; the sun brings me death. What am I?

Hmm you're right, love can't be broken but hearts can. Yay for getting one right :)
Oh wow Mallory they are really intersting! I have no clue, except for in riddle 2, was there someone already on the boat before the king and queen got in?

Fourth one is perhaps a snowman, Mallory?

These last 4 are hard - I have a question about the second one. Did the boat go anywhere during the night?

And no, the boat didn't go anywhere, and nobody else went on the boat during the night.

To solve me is to gain me,
To forget me is to lose me
And to use me you must answer this riddle
ANSWER: The riddle itself.
Sami suggested the answer for the other one. A Heart!

Would the answer to #2 be that the knight, the king and the queen got off the boat?

Ok I have one... it starts with E, ends with E but only contains one letter (it's NOT the letter E :)) - solved by Mallory

Nope it is not :) but according to google dictionary that's really a good guess, just not the answer I was told!
This is another one from my childhood, which may or may not be from the hobbit
I went to the woods and got it
Then I sat down and looked for it
I got upset because I couldn't find it
Then I went home with it because I couldn't find it - still unsolved

1. A chicken maybe?...
2. Is "three people" one of the names? Or were they not the only ones to get in the boat?
3. King Louis the Eleventh?
4. solved.

Envelope.
As for my riddles:
Verity is correct about number 2. The three people are a night (knight) a king and a queen.
And sorry, Landon, none of your guesses were correct.

Sorry - didn't find out how to make the text in "bold type".
This is a very old and very easy logic problem (not a riddle), but a surprising number of people get it wrong. IN THE MIDDLE OF A LARGE POOL IS A WATER LILY. THE WATER LILY DOUBLES ITS AREA EVERY DAY, AND, AFTER 233 DAYS HAS FINALLY RUN OUT OF SPACE AND COVERED THE WHOLE POOL. AFTER HOW MANY DAYS DID IT COVER HALF THE POOL?

I have no idea "who the king is" in the third riddle. I am tempted to make a wild guess and say "Arthur', since he had a castle and was part of an eternal triangle with Lancelot and Guinevere. But I don't really believe that this is the solution - must be something simpler and cleverer, but I can't see it......

*smacks face* OF COURSE :D silly me

Yes, yes it is!! :D You have to say what you see out loud.
ok here's another 'find the next in the sequence' one, which is very common and easy in my opinion
O T T F F S S E N... can you tell me the next three letters? solved by Andy

I'll try some more
1. Jack shows Jill three boxes, saying, "In the first I have £1, in the second I have £10 and in the third I have £100. Tell me a statement, if ..."
1. You will give me $1. (Sorry, I'm American and can't make a pound sign on my computer. Just pretend that's one pound)
I think the other two have already been answered here, so I'll avoid repeating them.
