Waiting for Origin...

I think he sold her out. He probably made a deal with the DOD, his and Chris' freedom in exchange for Katy (and maybe Daemon). He made a bunch of comments about Katy and the DOD, like he was sizing her up, checking whether she'd be a good replacement for him. But at the same time I think he does like her. But I think he also knows that he doesn't have a future with her, se ade that abundantly clear. So I guess he had no reason to keep her out of harm's way.
But I think he'll be back. He didn't know what to expect when he freed Chris and if freedom with Chris isn't as awesome as he wanted it to be, because Chris isn't in his right mind, he mght return for Katy. Especially if he believes that Daemon abandoned her. Who knows.
Oh, he'll be back alright. And I don't think Daemon will abandon Katy. And Blake might or might not want to help free Katy. Like Sunnykimmy said, who knows? But he better return that piece of Opal to Katy! I just can't wait to read more about Beth and Dawson!!
i don't think he will abondon katy either instead i'm sure he is going to do everything to get her back but i the only thing that puzzling me is in which codition will katy be... As for blake I;m not sure he is so weird on the hand hand he helps her, protect her but on the other hand he left her in there come on... omg i can't wait i want this book now... or snippet something....

I think Katy will definitely change, but how much I'm not sure. I feel like she'll become stronger and more hardened, probably lose a little more of her humanity. But I don't think she'll lose her mind, like Beth seemed to have done, she's stronger than that, she's definitely a survivor. And she's the main character. It would be kind of hard to write her POV if she's gone crazy. What el do you guys think could happen to Katy? Could she end up like Simon? If she does, it'll be reversable, I'm sure. But still.
Oh God, no! Katy might change a lot but Daemom will always accept her. But yeah, she will be hardened cause she'll want the DOD to pay. Remember when she almost killed Kimmy knowing she could? And then she killed Will without regretting it?When Daemon finally sees her acting merciless, its gonna be awesome to read about him being stunned. Daemon has definitely found his match. I guess its Katy's turn to piss him off. They'd be the strongest couple ever. Let's just hope that they end up happy by the end of Origin.
I'm just preparing myself for a female version of Daemon. Oh Daemon, Katy's "light" is already tainted!

Ashley will get the upper hand. And I don't see that happening. Daemon & Katy are meant to be, and Daemon knows that >:) Blake will die. Katy will become a more kick-ass personality. Daemon will cross all limits to have Katy back and "vanish" those who dared to wake the lion.

poor Katy's mom but I'm sure the DOD or some official will make her think Katy ran away/ was kidnapped/ died like they did with Beth and Dawson or go missing like Simon, Carissa and Beth. I don't know what to think of Ash. With Katy gone, she has the chance to comfort Daemon but I think he will respect Katy enough to stay away and spend every moment searching for her. Or, as imposiible as it sounds, Ash might have the decency and keep her hands on David instead of Daemon. I wish.
But no matter what happens, how hardened Katy becomes, how desperate Daemon becomes, I just hope they all retain their sense of humour. I mean, without their jokes, this series wouldn't be half as appealing. And I want to see more of Dawson in Origin! I love him!!
yes, this could be the ice breaker for Katy and Dee. I really hope Chris doesn't stand in the way.

i think that thats exactly whats going to happen. they have to stay funny because that one of the best parts! maybe Kat and Dee will get closer. hmmmm

Who is Chris again? And yeah, I think Katy's mom will be heartbroken. It's sad because she doesn't really know anything about her daughter's life.

I think that would be awkward b/c Andrew and Adam look the same so wouldn't Andrew feel like the 2nd choice. and the whole Chris thing sounds weird. Isn't Blake suppose to stay gone or Daemon will bbq him? What i really want to know is how the whole Kat disappearing thing is going to be explained to her mom. Poor Daemon. :(

i can't wait to find out what's wrong with Chris. maybe he was just acting and it all was a set up. or maybe Blake made a deal with the DOD to exchange Chris for Katy. more than that, i can't wait to see how Daemon deals with this!! the only thing worth enduring summer heat in July now is waiting for Origin...

if there are training Kitten scenes, i so can't wait!! some real strength is exactly what she needs! letting her light her fingers on fire,throwing a knife at her and leaving her alone with an arum should've ruled out Blakey as a normal hybrid boy, but Kat was too occupied to see it.
and now that i think about it, not only was Chris suspicious, but Beth too. she went apeshit on Katy on their 1st meeting, but doesn't even acknowledge her on their second. sth weird's going on with the hybrid half aliens who've spent time with the DOD... they all become sth they weren't before. i can already imagine Katy like that with anyone but Daemon...but what if she goes crazy hearing his name like Beth did? o.O--->this will probably be Daemon's expression ;)

yeah,i can't wait to see how dawson and beth are doing. dawson told katy and daemon they didn't have to help rescue beth but they still risked their lives and despite daemon's promises, katy got left behind. so they definitely should help get her back.wishful thinking: that JLA would write another novella like Shadows from Dawson and Beth's POV between Opal and Origin and show how they were dealing with getiing back together, Daemon, a different Dee and Andrew...after all, Dawson was the first Black Brother i fell in love with!

I don't want to think so because I read another series in dual P.O.V. and they were together for most of the book. I'm (sadly) starting to think differently because...they weren't together all of the book. I was like Maliha when I finished the book: shocked, nearly crying one minute, then laughing at my pathetic-ness, then thinking about Daemon and Katy and wanting to cry all over again, for about 10 mins. Mrs. Armentrout, PLEEEEEEEAAAASSSEE write more teasers SOOOON!!!!!! :(
