Where does it say that Dumbledore's gay?!

People who read the book say that Dumbledore's gay. But where does it say that?

It doesn't say so in the books, but she does mention that she had "always thought of Dumbledore as gay" in an interview. She said that her publisher or movie director or someone had wanted to add a small part where Dumbledore describes some beautiful woman he met and crushed on when he was younger, but J.K. Rowling said "no, Dumbledore's gay!"
I would know this because I used to be stalkerishly obsessed with everyone in or involved with Harry Potter.
Nice to know that she is accepting of LGBT! Yay for equality!
Also, religious fanatics hate her anyways for writing a book about witchcraft, so I don't think pissing them off more by being open-minded will make a difference...

It's so funny dozens of people say the same thing, over and over again.
It doesn't say it anywhere. J.K. Rowling said it in an interview.

It didn't. JK Rowling released it on Pottermore i think. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Yeah, it has never said it, personally - as much as I love J.K. - I wonder if she said that he was in an interview because she had no 'openly gay' character.
Yeah she said it in an interview, within a year of releasing the 7th book! I still remember.. It made front page news in an Indian newspaper :P! Seriously!!
I didn't know that! I always thought of him as one with no sexuality! Ha!
I read the transcript to the interview where she tells some teens that AD was gay.
Before the interview when his relationship with Grindwald was discussed in the books, it sounded a bit emotionally intense and obsessive to me and I wondered. But then, I didn't think Rowling would intentionally describe their relationship in such a way that it would make people wonder. I honestly thought (at times) I was being cynical of his relationship with Grindwald. But the hints were pretty stong. Like me, I think some adults picked up on the hints but maybe wondered if it was a hint or just reading too much into it.
But, it did surprise me when Rowling actually said he was gay.
I'm just glad it isn't Snape that was gay...lots of fantasies would have gone to total waste!

I was a little shocked when I found out but honestly it made sense.
It wasn't stated in the books, although J.K. Rowling openly revealed it in an interview.
Remember the friendship that Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald had? Rowling said that she always thought that of Dumbledore as gay. It was a subtle way of confirming things but it's easy to overlook it.
It's actually pretty worrying that there are so many people against homosexuality in this day and age, even when it comes to fiction. If the Ancient Romans never had a problem with it then why should we?

Does it really matter?
But yes, JK Rowling said so in an interview...as stated above. A lot.

Him being gay just makes so much more sense. It explains his character.
Nope, Dumbledore was gay. JK Rowling said so in an interview but didn't write it in the book.
JKR said he was in an interview. Though it's never directly stated in the books it's pretty obvious he was in love with Grindelwald.
Rowling said she intended him to be gay in an interview. It never actually says it in any of the books.
It never states it anywhere in the books, and I personally choose to believe that she's just saying that to get people besides preteens and those who read it in their preteens to read it. I like Harry Potter, but I think people go too far sometimes.
