Chased down the problem editions and edited. (Otherwise the original pub date will just revert with the next major edit to the work.)

Ok, I think I kicked it into shape in a way that will stick now.

Sandi Here's another one:

Any idea why this keeps happening? I doubt people change the date to things like 19AD on purpose.

message 8: by Lobstergirl (new)

Lobstergirl Fixed that one. Someone had typed 210 instead of 2010.

Usually this happens when someone inputs a Persian date for publication, which starts with 13--.

Got it.

Sandi If you look at the edit page for Castle of Otranto, the original publication date seems to have been switched back and forth between 12 AD and 1764 ever since February. I doubt anyone does this on purpose, could it be caused by faulty imports?

Koenraad (koenraadkelemen) | 6993 comments #13:
I found an edition of The Castle Of Otranto with a publication year '12' and an edition of A Doll's House with a Persian date and corrected them. This should take care of the first and second one of your list.
I have other obligations now, so I'll look into the others later unless someone else beats me to it...

Renske | 12231 comments The problem is not everyone knows that only changing the original publication date doesn't solve the problem. You need to edited the edition with the wrong date. Otherwise that edition will every time trigger the system to change the original publication date.

All books of 13/14 are done.
