I'm torn on this one. I really enjoyed the concept. The characters involved could create some really interesting plots. The problem was the execution. Some times things would get really good, but then the author would cut the scene short or slack in the development. It felt like you were on an old wooden roller coaster. Just when you start to have fun, you start getting whiplash from the jerky transitions and the starts and stops. That being said, I see hope here. Maybe with a few books under her belt this will even itself out. The good news is that there's enough potential here that I'll move on to book two to see how things work out.

I loved this one! Despite it's flaws I thought it was done really well.

Got an ARC of the 2nd book and I'm looking forward to it.
