Did you read the starcrossed series that starts with Reckless Magic? This is a continuation of that about Avalon. I cannot wait because Avalon is definitely one of my book boyfriends!

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) So there's another book before this one? :p

message 54: by Sara (new)

Sara | 1500 comments Yes. I don't know if you will understand this one without it, because I haven't really started it yet, but first comes these books... Reckless Magic (Star-Crossed, #1) by Rachel Higginson Hopeless Magic (Star-Crossed #2) by Rachel Higginson Fearless Magic (Star-Crossed #3) by Rachel Higginson Endless Magic (Star-Crossed #4) by Rachel Higginson I believe the first one is free on all sites.

Yep! Sandee's excitement is infectious LOL! It has the Pushing the Limits vibe, which I am not sure if it is a good thing or a bad one since I didn't enjoy PtL as much as everyone did. but I am keeping my hopes very low

Cynthia | 80 comments Hey Rachel. Well, The Night Circus is a bit confusing right now although I'm really loving it. It's just that you can to keep track of several characters which is really challenging. It is SO different from other books and it's magical.
How's Days of Blood and Starlight? :D

Melinda wrote: It's a very good book. I've read nothing like it. The first chapter is a little weird, but once you get past that, it's a wild wide. Very original, inventive, and fresh. But it's DIFFERENT. But the dialogue is awesome and I think it's one of the best books I've read in a long time. I am sure it was a hard book to write.

♥ Sarah (wispsoflight) Right now, I'm about to get started on: Avow by Chelsea Fine. I'm like hyperventilating right now and I had to get this out there.

SUUUUUUPER high expectations for this last installment of the Archers of Avalon Series!! I feel so bittersweet right now.

Me too. I was debating on Keep Holding On but I ultimately decided to delete it from my "to-read" list. If it's good, let us know??

Also, Shug wasn't as good as the Summer series, but there was something really special about it. Like that feeling of ALMOST falling in love, but not quite. Very nostalgic and bittersweet :)

One of my all time faves. HOWEVER, if you're against possessive/overprotective alpha males that are very aggressive, you might not like this. I know that description sounds kind of... not romantic, but I absolutely LOVED it. Also, there's a lot of STEAM (hot chemistry), jealousy, and drama involved.

I like Keep Holding On. It was good but sort of annoying and the ending was a bit rush. It has a good lesson though.
