New York's skyscrapers and hectic pace are a far cry from where Landon Gibson grew up, and the transition to New York University has been jarring. But he's getting the hang of things, found a job that pays (some of) the bills, enjoys school, and only occasionally runs into his ex, Dakota. You know, the one he chose NYU for...before she dumped him.

Luckily, his best friend,

No. No. Absolutely, no. I hate this book...

I'm not even going to bother with a constructive criticism because...just no. NO. No!!

I was sent an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I tried again and again to read this book but I just can't stand it any longer. This is my first time reading a book by Anna Todd and it will probably be my last. Her writing just reads like a fanfiction, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't even read like a good fanfiction, just a mediocre one. This book has the most ridiculous love triangle that I couldn't be more uninterested in. Landon's main love interest Da

3 Mr. Landon’s choices Stars

This is my first Anna Todd book. Nothing More is a spinoff from the After series. The After series is based on Tessa, who is Landon’s roommate. Nothing More is the first book in the Landon Gibson series. First off, I love series, I love them because it always leaves me wanting more and I LOVE that feeling. If you don’t, then you should because there’s nothing like finishing a book and realizing there’s more to come!

This is a love triangle book and it’s angst filled.

Growing and Suffering...

"Nothing More" is the story of Landon-good-mama's-boy in a messy preadults world.
What a yummy dish for naughty girls 😜

If like me, you're a huge fan of the After series, you're already very familiar with our main character - Landon Gibson. Landon is Tessa's best friend and Hardin's step brother. He's knows as being the nice guy, the guy you can always count on. At the end of the After series fans learn that years down the line Landon marries, but readers were left scratching their heads at the question of WHO. Nothing More is Landon's journey to finding love and ultimately his Happi

I tried to like this book, I really did. I tried so hard. But I just couldn't.
I read Anna's other book, After, last year and I really hated it. I didn't have extremely high hopes for Nothing More but I did expect a little bit more from this book. It is, in my opinion, miles above After though. I think the writing is a million times better than After but that being said, I still don't like the writing. It still reads like fanfiction but higher quali

Landon.

description

We all remember the adorable Landon from Tessa and Hardin's books.
He was the best friend, the brother, the nice guy, the good guy.

He's a happy guy. He's always been this guy.
Happy in his life. He loves his world. He loves his mom. He's happy.

Now he's in New York to go to University to become a elementary teacher - again, a job for the good, nice, perfect guy.

He's living with his almost-step-sister-in-law Tessa - who's still grieving over her break-up with Hardin.

But Landon is not happy. H

Landon Gibson was the perfect epitome of Mr. Nice Guy. He's been nursing a broken heart for over six months after her childhood best friend and longtime girlfriend, Dakota broke up with him to have an adventure and navigate the big city. With Sophia Nora de Laurentiis, often refer as Nora, showed interest to Landon, the three were caught in a love triangle drama. But when Landon was being fine having Nora around which is much complicated by the way, there's Dakota not wanting him to move forward ...more

I have no idea where to start with this. I feel so utterly torn. I love this author—I even read her After series back when it was still on Wattpad. But I just couldn't, for the life of me, get into this book a hundred percent. Sadly, I had a very difficult time connecting with it. It certainly had its moments—both good and not so good ones... It was a bit dull and slow moving on the most part; it was a tad too detailed and descriptive the whole

I was quite excited to read this. I know a lot of people who have read and loved Anna's books and I was thrilled to be able to start with a smaller sized book from a new series...

...but I don't think it's for me.

Landon is in his head a lot. Like a lot a a lot. I usually love boy POV the most, but I couldn't get interested in anything that was going on. Perhaps being familiar with what happens in the other series {since this appears to be a companion of sorts} would have helped.

Everything was s

This spin-off from the After series is a great one for the angst readers and the ones that love a good love triangle. Nothing More is about Tessa's roommate Landon.

Landon moves to NY to be close to his girl friend Dakota. Oh my, she is a peach lol. She is a good villain that you also kinda like. Then there is Nora, she is friends with Tessa. My only issue with this triangle was Landon and how wishy-washy he was. He was sooo whipped by Dakota. He also sounded a bit feminine in the way Anna wrote

This is the first part of the Landon duet from the writer of the After series. If you have read this series you will most likely remember Landon, Hardin’s stepbrother.

Landon is the classic nice guy. The guy who gets friended by cute girls because he is sweet and lacks the confidence to ask for what he wants. He is sensitive, thoughtful and a great guy to have in your circle of friends. He has been a godsend for Tessa during her ups and downs with Hardin and now they are flatmates in New York

Loooved this. I don’t think there’s any book in the “After” world I wouldn’t like.

Absolutely loved reading from London’s POV, which surprises me a bit as I usually don’t connect well with male POV’s, but this was easy as anything!

Loved learning about new and old characters! Can’t wait to read Nothing Less.

I was a huge fan of this author after reading the After Series, she has become my addiction. I loved Hardin and Tess dysfunctional relationship, as well as the other minor characters that played a pivotal role in their story. In particular, Landon was a loved character in the series, he was the sensitive best friend of Tess who always came to her rescue when Hardin was behaving like a jerk. Needless to say, I was excited to read this book, but sadly this book was very disappointing. Landon descr ...more

First of all: I’m team Nora and I don’t like Dakota, not even a tiny bit.

Second: I’m disappointed but not really. My point is... I read the “After” series by Anna Todd and I enjoyed it even though everyone seemed to hate it. I gave 5 stars to all of them if I remember right and I liked the way the author writes, but, this series is different mainly because of the characters. Call me drama queen, maybe what I liked about “After” was the drama, maybe it was Tessa & Hardyn, but this “new” series is

We all fell in love with Hessa, and everything that they were. We loved being a part of their world - so much so that we now get a new look into their world. Landon - most people's favorite character apart from Tessa or Hardin. We now get his story. He has a love life, which we really don't see in the After series. So to be able to follow him is something that most of Todd's fans will love to do.

It's such a different style of writing. Yes you can tell that it is Todd but we're use to Hardin. Har

UPDATE: Audiobook Review: 5 Stars

Once upon a time, there was this sweet guy, with a calm life, a loving girlfriend and a caring mother. He was smart, responsible and so mature for his age. He was like an old soul inside the body of a 20 year old guy. And his life was good, he had plans for the future with his girlfriend and he thought he had his life figured out. But he didn’t. Not at all. The day he landed in NYC his girlfriend broke up with him with the excuse of “I need to experience my colle

I enjoyed this book, but I wasn't as hooked as I was when I was reading the "After" series. I like Landon, and I loved him in the other series, but I feel like I agree with some of the other reviews that he kind of falls short in this one.

Dakota annoys the hell out of me. I dead set want to slap her upside the face and tell her to get away from Landon.

I quite like Nora, she's a very intriguing character and I love the chemistry with her and Landon.

I'll be very curious to see wh

I tried to like this book. I really did. It just was hard to get through all the heartache Landon has. He loves Dakota. He's attracted to Nora. He wants to be with Dakota but does he really "want" her or just wanting her because he feels like that is what he needs to do. The inner monologue of Landon was just a bit too much for me. So unfortunately this just wasn't my cup of tea or should I say coffee.

3.5 actually. I love the After series, and totally love Landon, but his story is kinda boring unfortunately.
Now, I read these on Wattpad, unlike the After series that I only got in on after they were in print. When I picked these up in print form to read, for some reason I had in my head that we hadn't gotten all the answers on Wattpad, and that may still be true. Overall I enjoyed spending time with Landon, but I guess maybe I would have liked a little bit more with Tessa in the story. I know t

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED ANNA TODD? I LOVED YOU AND THIS WASN'T SOMETHING ADDICTIVE.
Didn't read much more than 80 pages, if I did. I got really tired of the descriptions and the "I miss my mom". I finally gave it up.

Like all Anna Todd books, I finished this really quickly and it got me out of reading slump. i’ve just kind of been feeling off my reading mojo recently, and for some bizarre reasons her books work for me. this week is going to be my somewhat do over reading rush, even though I’m totally confused with all the drama that’s going on regarding it. as always Anna Todd had some questionable quotes and character choices, but I didn’t expect anything less. I was surprised to see that Anna did not parta ...more

Getting to know Landon Gibson through the After series I can see why he’s Tessas’ best friend. He is indeed the nice guy. Being around him so long he gives me little brother vibes. Thinking of him as a little brother made me love this book even more. Landon is very fun in this book. He’s in a bit of a pickle with his love life and it was at times hard to read.

Landon is no Hardin! That is great. We haven’t forgotten about him at all which I enjoyed. Hardin was rough and says it like it was, but w

I was so excited to start reading this. From the very first moment Dakota appeared, she got on my nerves and it just kept getting worst. I swear at one point I really wanted to smack her, what was she doing to poor Noah? Like, no, stop it b*tch. Seriously she annoyed me so much throughout the whole 2 books. I was rooting for Nora from the beginning although I knew she was hiding something big but still she was perfect for him and she truly cared for him like Dakota never did

Starting with the fact that while I liked Landon he wasn´t even near my favourite characters of this series I feel like this book was totally unnecessary because nothing much happens in it. Most of it is Landon talking to himself and tolerating Dakota who is a total bitch to him. Apart from Tessa the only remotely interesting character was Nora but we didn´t even get to know her at all. The whole book felt more opf a chapter to a story than an actual novel. I am quite dissapointed and I really h ...more

I wasn’t overly pleased with this novel. I did think it was a good read but I think the series of After books was over by the end of this novel. I know there is one more to this new narrator but after reading all the other six I think it’s time to move on to something new! I loved the first novel After, that by far is one of the best books I’ve read but as the series went on it got a little too long.
