Hey, Carrie. Glad you're here.

One of my favorite and most read authors is Stephen King. I own all of his books except for The Outsiders. I am patiently (but impatiently) waiting to get my turn at th..."

My name is Dean, also a great admirer of Stephen King and his books!!
Since reading "IT" I'm a fan!!!
Wonderful to be here with you all constant readers..
Dean;)

I became a King fan back when I was 11 or 12 I think. Different Seasons was the first book I read. I've recently started reading a lot more Stephen King (and Joe Hill) again.
Currently, I'm reading Needful Things

Welcome DW & Amy. Great to be rediscovering King again. DW - as a writer I started reading King to keep his tone in my head. I figured if I kept reading him, the horror I was writing would have some of his feeling. Next thing I knew I had read all his novels. Did you ever do that... read to maintain the author's mood or tone or possibly even - hate to admit it - style?

My first Book from Stephen King was IT. I think I read it, when I was 10/11 and loved it!

My name is Hana, and I’m 16. I’m from Slovenia. I’m currently reading Mr. Mercedes and The Stand. Although a little ambiguous at first, I must say that I fell deeply in love with the original version of The Stand. I’m a tad idiosyncratic at times.

I was encouraged by my mum to buy a book as a gift for my dad, either for Fathers Day or a birthday. She mentioned he was a Stephen King fan, so I picked up It, which had just come out on paperback at the time, with that iconic cover featuring the eyes in the storm drain. I was only ten or so, and I knew I was too young to read it, but time and again I found myself gazing at the cover, terrified and excited at the same time. I think I finally read it about two years later, and... the rest is history.

So, Monica, I picked up an e-book copy of your novel "Through The Shattered Looking Glass." Looks very good. I've got quite a stack of books to read, but I'll get to it and write a review when I can.
Graphic adult content, extreme gore? Sounds like my kind of book.
