Pragya (reviewingshelf) | 4026 comments Congratulations Travis!

I started reading No and Me by Delphine de Vigan after I saw someone reading it in the metro. It caught my fancy and I stopped by the 'buy me' button. :)

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments Finished Beauty A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast by Robin McKinley for the alphabet challenge yesterday. I gave it a 3 star rating because I enjoyed it but I found I could not connect with the characters very well and everything felt a bit 'distant' which meant that the central love story lost some of its impact for me.

Next I will finally be starting A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen which I meant to start the other day but never did and I will also be starting The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller which I am really intrigued about.

Janice (jamasc) | 59887 comments I started The Amulet of Samarkand on audiobook yesterday. I've decided to abandon The Bronze Horseman and replace it with The Bat for my B choice. Now just what am I going to replace it with for Russia? I'm leaning towards The Lost Souls of Angelkov.

Chrissie I had a hard time understanding the confusing mystery in A Very Long Engagement, even after seeing the movie! I adored the French movie. Perhaps something has gone wrong in the translation and/or the narration of the audiobook. Read it in French if possible. My review explains more: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

I will now start Benjamin Franklin: An American Life.

See, there I go again! Why is it the books that appeal to me are chunksters?

That's great - do you have a name? :-)
