Cory - you might want to rethink this switch. The Piano Lesson has a YA Assignment listing and no Lexile. It's not eligible for LLL. This author does fit the 20.4 task, as he was born in 1945.

Hm, ok. I think this is another case of not quite understanding the 'first on the list' in BPL. It won't be a big deal - I should be able to read another backup before the end of the month (or I can always shift Fences back over). I'll reconfigure my list as needed when I get home from work today, but I'll also move my question about this to the LLL Q&A thread, since The Piano Lesson was approved over there and when I looked it up the first listing showed it as non-fiction - although now I see that quite a few of the other library branches did list it as YA Assignment. Thanks for keeping me on my toes ;)

Me, the Missing, and the Dead by Jenny Valentine
I ended up really pleased with this choice of a replacement for Line of Beauty. I learned about Thatcher era politics in LoB even though it ended up not counting, and I really like to stick to the concept behind the challenge, so I was hoping that the replacement would have enough about London in it to fit. It did and it also was cleverly written and had quirky characters which I really enjoy!

Thanks, Elizabeth, itpdx and Rosemary. Rosemary, yes, I was very glad I finally read War and Peace. I listened to it over the whole 3 months and I miss the narrator now. I've been on midwinter break this week, so I've had extra reading time and I'm excited to have finished the basic challenge and made good progress with LLL. I hope to finish my London experience, too, but life may intervene. I'm heading to a conference on Tuesday, so we'll see. Happy reading, everyone!

20.10 UndauntedSwann's Way by Marcel Proust
I first tried to read this as a student and gave up very fast. Then last year I took out an audio version from the library and didn't even start listening to the first CD. So I was very happy to find a Goodreads group that is reading this and the other volumes of 'In Search Of Lost Time' over the whole of this year. Reading about 12 pages a day I loved this book, and I'm looking forward to starting the next one on March 1st.
