get it, I get it, now I'm off to look for serious meds, need to get myself in shape for that trial...
Re: "all the moderators quiting"...If having Steve as a companion during "quiting smoking" is a help than good news...everyone can have him for a "quit smoking companion" because he's ALWAYS "quiting".Re: Nick, I'm so hesitant to congratulate you because I think pleasing other people is not necessarily a motivator for you and yet I can't help it because I think it's awesome that you're doing/did this.yah and woo-hoo to you!!!
*I've heard (can't recall or claim validity of source...just a news clip somewhere along the way) that people that quite "cold turkey" have the highest rate of success over the long term. GO LONG NICK!

Yeah...like my dad! Right, NICK?!!
Yeah...like my dad! Right, NICK?!!
ha, ha! I forgot about that. It feels good to be right, doesn't it Sarah. Now Nick has to make the tough choice...quit smoking - be healthy, save money, and smell better
or
try and maintain his afore mentioned position about "quitters", be a sneak smoker and lend some weight to his previous argument.
tough choice.
No worries Donna, I'm feeling pretty good about quitting... I still don't "feel" healthy, I think all this get healthy by quitting is a bunch of liberal propaganda; I feel like shit; that is all.
Ithink I would get along well with your "less cultured" grandpa; may we dine in hell together some day.
I think it's a bunch of crap too. You'll lessen your chances of getting lung cancer, you won't smell awful, and you won't be addicted to nicotine. I think that's about all you can be certain of. I know plenty of people who developed chronic bronchitis, severe allergies, asthma, ect. AFTER quitting. All claimed to be healthy before.
I believe that, up until last year, I always felt fine. Then I caught a little cold and everything went to the apes...
Nick: this comes a bit late, but... i've never bothered to learn any of that html character stuff myself, but i've got my trusty Character Map© saved to desktop. Just copy and paste.
