The grey she wolf laughed. "Choosing prey? Now that's a luxury." She winked and scented the air. "Looks like squirrel and bird, if you can catch those winged rats."

Silver fell silent and looked at the ground. Was this right? It didn't feel right. She didn't want to make Shadow feel like he wasnt good enough any longer. "Shadow, I do love you!" She exclaimed.
" a friend love. I know.. But I want it to be more then that, if it can" shadow looked at her
"What if it is more than that....." She mumbled softly, looking away. Silver's ear flicked.
" well then you would've either told me or proven it" shadow looked around for any signs of prey.
Silver frowned, she loved him, but some times his disability to understand her got on her nerves. Though the femme really couldn't blame him, she was difficult to deal with. "Well, lets just get some dinner." She said lightly.
" I am kidding.. I think I know what you mean" shadow smiled at her then kept sniffing the ground.
Silver simply flicked her ear again and lifted her muzzle to sent the air. "I smell a moose nearby...." She murmured.
" ok, then I should start tracking. I was going with another scent" shadow smirked at her.
Silver shrugged. "Whatever's easier I guess, ill go around so we can trap it." With that she bolted further into the trees.
" easier for you or for me" he yells after her.
Silver rolled her eyes and kept running. Yelling would scare off prey. She stopped noticing the moose and crawled into the shadows.
Shadow chuckled. He kept tracking the moose, hoping to get face to face with it. He wanted to scare it to silver.
Silver carefully stalked around the large creature, hoping to pounce on it's rump.
Shadow howls, hoping to scare the prey. Not really sure what silver was doing or if she was even ready.
The moose looked up, small ears pricked, and it bolted forward towards Shadow. Silver ran after it.
" wow bro, wrong way" shadow stands his ground snarling.
It stopped, confused and unsure if where to go, Silver grasped the moment and ounces - sinking her teeth into the back of the animal.
Shadow sighed, bummed he didn't get run over. Clawing at it's face then backing up.
*of *pounces woops ))Silver finally couldn't hold on and dropped to the ground. "Give it a swift kill, don't let it die in too much pain." She barked, her voice sounding distant.
" fine" shadow sank his teeth into the preys neck. Dragging it to the ground, crushing it's windpipe.
"Well done!" Silver finally said once she'd caught her breath.
" thanks.. You too" he smiled at what she was trying to do.
Silver smiled. "Well, we better eat this." She laughed.
" ladies eat first" shadow smiled at her, letting his tongue hang out of his mouth.
Silver shrugged and lay down, sending a silent prayer of thanks for the meal. "It's huge, we could eat at the same time." She pointed out, before biting into it.
" ugh fine.. Girls and thirt manners" shadow sent a silent prayer of thanks as well. He took a piece of the back meat and started eating.
Silver raised an eyebrow, but didn't push it further. Decising to just relax and enjoy the prey.
" can I teach you something" shadow looked up at her. His muzzle covered in blood.
Silver's ear flicked. "Sure I guess."
" eat this" shadow nudged the liver towards her. " it's actually good for you"
Silver cringed, she'd seen pack wolves eat every part of an animal before. Hesitantly, she nodded and ate the liver.
" your mistaken" shadow smiled at her. Knowing what she was thinking, " pack wolves don't eat this.. Only my lucky family"
Silver raised an eyebrow, feeling like her mind was being read. "Whatever you say." She said once finished.
" it's actually good for ya" shadow nudged her
"Yeah yeah, I believe you." She ushered with a smile.
Silver rolled her eyes in disbelief.
(( sorry, I have been out camping for about 2 1/2 weeks))
" what, it is!" Shadow laughed
