Silver stopped when they reached the Cave. 'Is this the place they all talk about?'
She wondered to herself.
Shadow ran up beside her, " this is te place I wanted to show you"
Silver nodded slowly and padded forward. "Wh-where are we?"
" this" shadow laughed. " is the cave before time"
"The Cave Before Time." She repeated. Her ear flicked before she dashed inside suddenly.
" wow wow wow" shadow went after her. " you can't just go running In here
Silver came to a sudden halt at his warning. "Oh....." She apologised awkwardly.
" this place is not just a come and see what happens" shadow whispered. " you have to be able to listen and hear.. Then you can see"
Silver nodded in understanding, and slowed her pace drastically. "So why is it called The Cave Before Time?" She puzzled.
" not really sure.. But man, it is beautiful. I used to think it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen until about a day ago"
Silver wagged her tail slightly and walked into the cave. Her eyes widened in awe.
" we will have to wait till dark" shadow smiled at her happiness
"Why?" Silver raised an eyebrow, wondering what could possibly happen at a somewhat ordinary cave.
Shadow laughed, " just be patient" he laid down.
Silver decided not to press it any further and slid down beside him.
" its fine.. just be patient and it will be worth it" shadow smiled
"I believe you." Silver assured, returning the smile.
Silver rest her head on her paws and stayed silent.
" hey.. Can I ask you a question" shadow asked her
Silver replied, without lifting her gaze. "Yeah?" She urged, her voice sleepy.
" what do you think of me?" Shadow was a little nervous about asking the question.
Silver blinked, the question catching her off guard. "Um...." She began awkwardly. "Well, I'm not really sure, in truth, you're the first wolf I've ever had much of a conversation with."
" oh....ok" shadow turned away from her.
Silver looked at her paws in embarrassment.
" I.. I am gonna go get some water" shadow got up, a little sad.
"O-okay." Silver nodded and lay her head back on her paws.
Shadow left the cave to go find some water.
Shadow found a stream of clear water, he looked at his reflection. A scar on his right eye, blood stains on his body. Yeah, who would want that. He thought to himself.
((I know I know >3<))Silver sighed, her mind rolling with guilt and shame.
'Im such an idiot, I shouldn't thought about what I was going to say!'
Shadow looked around him, should he make a break for it or go back.
After a while, Silver grew restless. 'I hope he's okay.....I don't know where the water source is....'
Shadow shook his head, " I gotta go back" he saw the moon come out. He lifted his head and gave a beautiful howl. Then turning around and started to go back to the cave.
Silver's ears pricked in surprise at a howl close by.
Shadow sat at the mouth of the cave, " it's almost dark"
Silver jumped slightly. "I didn't see your here!" She stated with a chuckle.
" I just got back" he said looking up at the moon
Silver nodded distantly, and followed his gaze to the bright moon. "Is it going to happen now?" She whined, purposely adding a pup-like tone to her voice.
" hold on.. You may want to cover your ears" shadow looked at her.
Silver gave him a questioning look, but trusted him and rolled her head on the snow.
Shadow gave a howl, it was very pound but it was still a beautiful sound. The cave lit up with pictures moving and things like that.
(("And things like that" lol))Silver lifted her head, a gasp excepting her maw. "I-it's .........." She blinked, speechless.
(( i couldnt think of anything else!!! lol))
" its beautiful" shadow smiled and walked into the cave.
