I sort of found out it wasn't real before I saw it. I'd heard there was a surprise scene near the end of the movie for the fans, and my sister saw it before me and she said that everyone was laughing and i was like okay????? When Jacob took Renesmee away I could tell something was up cause that didn't happen in the book, I was kinda angry that they changed the story just to add violence but then I thought about how my sister said everyone was laughing and then I remembered I accidently saw a discussion that said Alice had a vision to Aro, and so I put the pieces together. So when this girl in the cinema screamed when Aro was holding Carlisle's head, I was just laughing! I started tearing up when Leah died saving Esme but I was just like; "Come on, I know this isn't real so why am I crying?!?!" Then when everyone realised it was just a vision of the future they all like gasped and I was just cracking up.

I finally saw this yesterday with my mom and sister and I loved it.. I'd have to say though Carlise looked a hot mess! It's like as the series progressed they had no idea what to do with his look. They kept changing it and for the worst. Even Emmit looked a hot mess in this one UGH!Ok back to my critic on the movie. It shocked me a bit that finale and all, but I thought they did a good job on the overall movie and the close of the Saga.
I especially loved what they did in the ending credits; acknowledging everyone who has appeared in the Saga :)

I liked the credits also. I thought it was cool to see who was all in e series.

One thing that bothered me in the battle scene: what happened to Alec? He's supposed to be this ultimate weapon for the Volturi, capable of disabling the entire opposing army. But what happens when he starts to do his thing? Aro stops him! Why? That makes no sense, and it made for a rather contrived ending. Without Alec, the Cullens and the wolves stand an even chance and Alice's vision could come true. But with Alec, the Volturi would be victorious and that vision wouldn't work. It would have made more sense if they had someone take out Alec early in the battle scene, rather than have him not use his power.
Did anybody else notice that?

OMG!!! I almost died in the cinema when Carlisle died! I was like 'NOOO!! There is no way you can kill Carlisle!' then the rest of them start dying... My friend (who I went to see BDP2 with) was convinced I was crying!
I thought Bella could project her shield thing to more than one person at once in the book, but in the film she can only protect any one person at any one time?
Rachel wrote: "I thought Bella could project her shield thing to more than one person at once in the book, but in the film she can only protect any one person at any one time?"In the book she could shield more, able to extend it hundreds of yards.
In the movie, she was able to shield maybe one at most. I liked that more, because it was more realistic.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was a bit confused :)
Jordan wrote: "Oh and I met Peter (Carlilse) So I was like "Noooo! He touched my arm! You can't kill him!""Thats cool !!
Mallory wrote: "Just wanted to say thanks to anyone who contributed in this little rant, it's fun to see everyone's different reactions to the twist ending :)"yeah
Peace wrote: "i wonder what everyone faviort part?"My favorite part was when Bella grabbed Jacob by the scruff of the neck, dragged him outside and proceeded to berate him for imprinting on the baby, all the while knocking him to the ground over and over. :)
my favorite part was when jacob was running with renesmee and shes all like JACOB!!!!!! but it wasnt real
I cried when Carlisle was killed and almost left the theater when Jasper was killed. Seth was taking it too far. Leah, I was impartial, but it was still sad the way she died defending Esme, when she'd never really liked vampires. I was cheering when Alice killed Jane and when Bella and Edward killed Aro. Also, I cried at the end when the visions were shown. It was so beautiful, and the end credits almost had me in hysterics. I'm so sad to see Twilight go.
Ugh, the movie was ridiculously bad. Poor dialogue, poor acting, poor visual effects. It made me cringe throughout most of it. The only good thing was Aro. Michael Sheen did an effing awesome job. During the fake fight scene I really didn't care about any of "the good guys" dying, but Aro's death was sad. You don't kill the only interesting character! And well, they didn't. Thank goodness.
Reese wrote: "The only good thing was Aro. Michael Sheen did an effing awesome job."Too bad they made him look like Sgt. Pepper! All he needed was a band-leader's hat. :-)

that would have been hilarious! :) And he probably could have even pulled it off :D
I really loved the sex scene too. Bella's sparkle-gasm. :) Did anyone else think that was really cool?
I actually almost stood up and yelled at the screen, me and my friends all went to see it. Only me and Abby had read the books though. I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!!!"HGIEH OVN;oq;HqhaigkehBWQOGwhrrh;qiUO;EHGWH/TQEHEHOWGIH;EGUHWGQ;OGUWRO;HWGROHWGRHGUOGHLIWUGSHLDHGIWLEULGWILUGWUIGHWLEIUGH I can't express how much feelings I had while sitting in that theatre...
