Just finished Montmorency: Thief, Liar, Gentleman? the other day and really liked it. Still haven't decided what to read next.

@Malina; you will continue to enjoy it. It is really, very well-written. Congrats!@Book-brother! You need to put anything by Jonathan Maberry on your list. Joe Ledger and his creepies, zombies, etc; or Pine Deep with its werewolves and sometime vampires or just straight zombies with the Rot & Ruin series. Highly recommended...:D

Aww, thank you so much, book-sister! I know how crazy you've been about Maberry's work, and I definitely want to give him a go! (I've yet to see a negative review to date, have you?) Your excellent review awhile back convinced me to add Ghost Road Blues.

Alondra after talking about Bad Moon rising and then reading your review on this you got me adding to my TBR pile. And thanks, now I know to read the other 2 before Bad Moon Rising. I look forward to hearing what you think about that one too.

woot-woot! you both will enjoy that series. it literally took me until book 2 to really figure out what the monsters were..... they are vicious; this much i know. :)
I just finished "A Week In Winter" - which I loved even though she "told" more than "showed". Still, I love her stories. Now I'm reading Randy Attwood's "The 41st Sermon".

Finished 11/22/63. It was fabulous, wrote my review and now onto Song of Susannah! I have such a great line up this year for reads. Looking forward to the 5th as well for our Heartsick read.

Aw, you don't even have to try! Whenever I'm interested in any of your reviewed books (The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas, for instance,) I usually add them, no questions asked.:)

Well Dustin, it´s been kind of a disappointment so far, not one single goosebump to show for it yet, I´m only half way through though, maybe the author saved the best for last? #fingerscrossed

I keep hearing wonderful things about the series, Carla. I really want to read it. Hopefully it's more to your liking, ASAP.

Just read the book Radiance, by Alyson Noel. Was not really all that impressed with it. Thought it would be better than it was. Was definitely geared towards younge teens rather than young adult. There is, I think, 3 or 4 more to this series. So not sure if I will them or not. Not all that impressed With Noel's writing. Anyway now I have moved onto Heartsick, by Chelsea Cain, and it is fabulous so far.

Really?...oh... I simply decided I'm gonna see it through so I can write a review but honestly it didn't resonate with me at all. If you ever read it, please let me know how you feel about it Dustin, maybe you'll point out something I missed?

Just finished Bad Moon Rising last night and highly recommend to those who like real, blood-thirsty vamps. Also, some really good writing by Jonathan Maberry who has become one of my new favorite authors. He jumped from 99 to the top 10. The Pine Deep series overall gets 5 stars. Even though it did not leaving me creeped out enough to leave my lights on; I do want to check under the beds and in the closets... just sayin'@Kyle; I added house of leaves to my TBR. I am not sure who mentioned it, but I added it about a month ago and am excited to read it.

I really liked it a lot, Carla. It's pretty amazing, IMO. If you have a few moments, please check out the review. Thank you.
If our reading schedules line up sometime this year, I'd love to join you two lovely ladies for House of Leaves (anyone interested is more than welcome to join, of course!) Let me know.

Janie wrote: "Alondra glad you liked it! :)"I did. Glad I finally gave it a chance. Definitely out of my comfort zone of horror/thriller.
Yeah it really is out of your comfort zone then. It's always nice to be able to do that. You feel almost accomplished.Right now I am reading out of mine with a sort of steam punky Science Fiction lol. It's called Incarceron. It is more YA sci fi though I think. It does have a dystopian feel though which I love dystopian so that will help.
