like the "Big Foot" power wheel... looking back it was so stupid and I am now glad my dad never bought it, but at the time I would have gladly taken the life of a sibling for it.
I just wanted my own playhouse. My dad built the frame and the frame bits sat in the garage for years. :(
He made me super sweet adjustable stilts, though.
I'm sure he would have finished your playhouse but he was too busy sneaking out back for smoke breaks.
I wanted a live baby elephant when I was 6 or 7. My mother said no (like the computer) and I thought she was so mean because, gee, we had a really big back yard. (In a huff all over again.)

I've got snaily objects at home. I'll take pictures of them, later. I have this really, really tiny brass one that is old and someone from goodreads found it at a flea market and sent it to me! Awesome! Plus, I love my bookends of a naked child riding on a snail (trust me.)
