Ok, so I don't require an exact format but since there are some newbies and the new captain must post for the points. I am giving a few samples. The key things for a book review:
1. Your review must include the weekly item you are reading (perferably at the top or in bold)
2. A link to the book (cover or words)
3. The date you finished reading the book
4. A 1-5 star level (hearts or smilies work too just as long as it is on a 5 point scale)
5. A Review at least 2 sentences. Did you like it would you want to read more.
6. Any other items you are claiming
It could look like this.
Week 5- Curly Hair
by Orson Scott Card Finished 11/26/12 5 starsI absolutely love this tale of sleeping beauty. It isn't your standard telling. I am curious to read more from this author

It would need to be listed seperately. It could be in the same post, but each persons link to the non called item also. I will grant non called points with out a specific post though, because the spread sheet will notify me when they are earned. So even if a captain doesn't post it the team will get them. But I think it will help if there is a post to claim them.

Won't it sting so much more when they realize they've been blindsided by 3 newbies. Though, it should not surprise them that they will be taken down by our leader, Jenne!
Dawn, I just have a question about requesting the stamps.Obviously, we will request stamps for the called items. However, should/can we also claim stamps for the non-called items if the whole team has them?
And if so, how would that work if the item is called later?

It could be done as one post or as two.

If it is called later the previous claimed points just don't matter. They are still there you don't lose your item point. But you will want to post again when everyone reads the item again because with a new book they can claim the 3 extra items.

I was editing a few minutes ago to add new players and removed the freeze line. I will put it back in right now.

Thanks for the inspiration for the new spreadsheet layout Carob. I am just hoping all the hidden formulas work right. So anyone feel free to point out if the math doesn't look right as we get going.

If I thought I might make it until midnight...maybe. But there has been drama in my life this afternoon and I really am ready to go to bed now... at 7pm. To bad the kids arn't ready.

I lost my daughter today after school. Last month there was a young girl abducted and murdered about 20 miles from us, so tensions are high in the area. After school she wasn't where I told her to meet me, thinking she forgot and walked home like normal I went home. I got home and realised she wasn't there. I panicked got my neighbors involved, ran back to the school got them looking for her. Only then for another mother to point out, it's Thursday isn't she in choir practice? And she, was exactly where she was supposed to be I was just early (well there at the normal time since I forgot about choir practice.) All is well, I just feel a bit silly and emotionally drained. And exhausted from my 7 block run... I really should get in better shape. In the middle of all this my cell phone dies so I can't call the neighbors to let them know I found her. It was like a bad sitcom episode.
But kids are asleep, I am off to bed, I'll see you all in the morning.
