Welcome Tory, it's a great place to find books and meet new friends. What's your first book called, I love anything PNR. :-)

Carver.Kind of PNR/Urban Fantasy, with a female wizard, and male shifter and vampire thrown into a torrid, anything goes love triangle, told first person by the wizard.
Not as much of the world gets revealed in this book, since I just want to cover one segment of the supernatural world in each novel. This one happens to be a little bit more on vampires, and how the politics and intrigues of their world play out, but still covers the bases on the Covenant, the treaty that the supernatural world plays by.
Next one will be shifters, and some of the various political factions and packs within their supernatural "nation."

Welcome... but bear with me... I have a powercut! Well, I have the urge for power... but, there are cuts...
There are times, occasions, seemingly desires for the world to sort itself out......and then there are people who crap on your day and write the most beguiling, lovely, hateful and loving works you have ever read.
I keep on wishing I could one day write to make you all sit up and read.
I think as writers we need to keep on wishing, writing and hoping.
One day, one day soon, we will all connect.
Love to you all.

You know what, I have two Springer spaniels slouching round my office chair and they could not care less if my new books sell or not.Well... they are probably right!
Sod the world, but please comment on my new website... I think it's pretty dark...

And if that isn't dark enough for you... oh well!

Springers are great dogs. My last dog was a black lab (she passed away not long ago breaking my heart). Anybody who love dogs and cats must be an okay person. Please don't tell me if you don't love cats, it would be too much of a let down LOL.

I sometimes think my dogs are the kids I never had.
Cats are so unlike dogs in most aspects but with me, they love a tail tickle as much as any dog I've met.
Tom, I've had people ask my why I love both dogs and cats. I tell them that a dog will make you feel like the greatest person who has ever walked the Earth. And just when you are starting to get a big head, your cat comes along and makes you realize your just not all that great LOL. They are a perfect balance. If I had unlimited money, I'd fund a non kill rescue for as many animals as I could.

The cruelty can be unbelievable, you just need to read some of the stories on my blog http://www.goodbookgoodprice.com/blog...
it's heartbreaking.
Hello everyone,I just joined and I am excited to see people who have similar taste in books. I love to read and this will provide me with different view points.
Welcome April. It's a great place to meet new people and get good recommendations for books. All the people here have been nothing but friendly to me.
Hi April. I agree with Louise, this is a great place. I've gotten some really wonderful recommendations for authors, books, and series. We also have some really fun discussions. I'm glad you joined us.
Thanks Elizabeth, it's very rare someone agrees with me. I liked your comment on the dogs and cats thing and it's totally true. :-)
Thank you everyone! I love reading paranormal and fantasy books. With all that's going on its a treat to getaway and lose myself. In a good book.

Soon after I will send you the book in whatever format you want.
After that, I am in the lap of the gods.
Let me know if this is okay for you and I will PM the link.
Thank you for being part of my experiment.

Hello, my name is Nadine. I'm not sure how to say it well, so I just gonna say it. I'M ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH VAMPIRES!! My dad told me when I was around 5 years old Bela Lugosi was my favorite actor. On Sesame Street The Count was always my favorite. However, I suck at math because it's almost like he mesmerized me, so I never learned anything. The original Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies and two of my favorite authors are Anne Rice and Lara Adrian. Respectively the writers of The Vampire Chronicles and The Midnight Breed Series. I even have a story in my head that I am wanting to write about Vampires which will probably be at least a trilogy once written....
Hi Nadine. I love Anne Rice too. Unfortunately, the movies made off her books are not nearly as good as the books. I hope you move forward with writing your books. We can always use more good writers.
Hello! I’m a reader, writer, blogger, geek, and an insatiable fan of sci-fi and fantasy. I’m also passionate about music, mythology, and history and its mysteries. I have a degree in literature and a PhD in molecular biology, and I earn a living as a professional writer.I’m always interested in discussing anything book related!
Welcome A J. Wow, that's quite a resume. I also am a lover of books and music. I like certain types of mysteries (grew up with Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie books). I'm really interested in the kind of books you write. Can you give us a list of books that can be bought on Kindle? I really enjoy finding new authors.
Hey there!I am kinda new to goodreads but I am radically becoming addicted^^ It took some time to scan and catalog all of my print and digital books, but now I'm searching for people to interact and talk about my favorite books. I would love to chat with new people.
A few of my favorite authors are Elle Kennedy, Kristen Ashley, Jeaniene Frost und Chloe Neill.
Feel free to add me if you are interested about talking and recommending books, I would love to hear from you!

You are very welcome to check out my website and blog (Blakemont). By the way, my latest published novel will be available on NetGalley soon, if you are interested.
A J Thank you for the info. I didn't realize that authors couldn't promote their books here. I've had a few others let me know what their books were and read them. I hope I haven't gotten people in trouble:) I will definitely check out your website.
Welcome Lyx. This is a great site. You should enjoy many of the discussions. Do you have a website that would introduce us to your writing?
I will. I look forward to connecting with you lovely people. And please send me some recommendations when you guys read new books.
Shan, if you haven't read anything by Nalini Singh yet, I highly recommend any of her series. I especially enjoy the changling/psy series.
Elizabeth wrote: "Shan, if you haven't read anything by Nalini Singh yet, I highly recommend any of her series. I especially enjoy the changling/psy series."I agree with the suggestion. Psy/Changeling is an amazing series- I'm reading it now and highly recommend it. Are you familiar with the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs? Really good too.
Peridot, yes I've read the Mercy Thompson and the Alpha Omega series. Very good. Singh also has an angel series that is really good too.
Elizabeth wrote: "Peridot, yes I've read the Mercy Thompson and the Alpha Omega series. Very good. Recommend the first, like, 12 books, which is saying something.
I've read all her books, I'm a Nilini fanatic. I just read archangels heart... Must read. I'll check out Mercy Thompson. Thanks for the 'reco' Elizabeth.
Hello Nicole!Hello Shan, very cool ill look up the book! I love all paranormal whether its YA or Adult. My favorite YA are Existence and Cinder series so far. I also really loved Touched which is a solo.
I'm reading til death and beyond by Lyn C Johanson you guys should check it out it's a paranormal romance. Will post a review later this week.
Hi! My name is Treena. I live in Canada. And as I mention in my profile, I love, love, LOVE the In Death series and have probably read everything by Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb. Ilona Andrews's work is another automatic-buy/read for me. And my latest "discovery" are the books by Ella Summers --- which are fun and well-written! Looking forward to learning about new authors and books for me to add to my TBR pile :-)
Hello Treena! I love Nora Roberts Circle Trilogy! I plan on reading Sign of Seven series next year :)
I am Alice Jacobson and live in Massachusetts. Love Paranormal romance, shifter, vampires, witches merpeople. they are all great.
Name's Adam. I've been a book worm ever since I could read. At first all I was interested in was mythology, my fav author being Rick Riordan. As I grew up (don't laugh) I started getting obsessed with romance. I started reading books like Vampire Academy and Bloodlines. I'd spend a lot of my time day dreaming about myself (not funny) in another life with a beautiful gf n lots of friends. I guess that was mostly bc I was alone most of the time. I wasn't much of a talker (n I'm still not). I used to spend my entire day silent m even if someone did talk to me I would give a vague reply. Whenever someone asks me my interests, I say one word: BOOKS. N when they ask me what kind of genre I always hesitate bc society is so messed up these days n they're always judging u. If I say 'I like PR n UF' they'll probably think I'm a pervert. ;)
Some of my all time favourites would be Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instrument series n her Infernal Devices series. Also, Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series n her Bloodlines series.
One thing I see a lot is love at first sight, n honestly I don't believe in that at all. I think that it's a load of bull. Love at first sight can't exist, coz if u fall in love with someone the first time u see them, that's not love. U only 'love' them bc of their looks. Love is supposed to be something which is built over time. It's a gradual thing, n that's one of the things I love about reading books over watching movies. When u read a book, u don't look at the characters, u travel with them on a journey, n u fall in love with their character. U fall in love with their soul.
Anyways, if any one has any amazing book recommendations, plz tell me.
Thanks for having me. ;)
