Introductions!

I am always looking around. I can kill a whole day online sometimes and never even realize it lol

I joined this group because I really want to see what other people are reading, get recommendations on what to read myself and maybe throw out a few books that I have enjoyed. (I just finished "Lips Like Ice" by Peggy Barnett - not at all what I usually read, but so glad I did! Great book)
I've read all the BDB series so far, as well as Moning's Fever series. Read all of Charlaine Harris, and really like Erica Hayes. I'm also a fan of Anne Rice, Anne Bishop & Grace Draven.
Nice to meet you all and I'm really looking forward to joining in your discussions! :-)

I'm Paula, and I work as a Family Nurse Practitioner during my off-writing hours. I've got a heart-sick devotion to dragons and fantasy romance. Like L.D. I drink way too much coffee. I like to brew beer, and I garden.
I joined the group to find recommendations for more fantasy romance. Everyone seems to adore Moning's Fever series, so I think I'll start there.
I do adore most of Lora Leigh's Breeds series - particularly when Jonas shows up on the scene.
Straight Fantasy doesn't have enough hot romance for me, and I like a little touch of magic and paranormal in my stories.
Thanks for having me.

Richard Knaak. Avid reader and fantasy author. Although I've written a lot of epic fantasy, I do enjoy writing and reading Urban. Some of my oldest novels in that category are being released in a collection next year and I have a new novel I will be alerting about very soon. I enjoy Jim Butcher (what a surprise) among others.
UPDATE: Posted about my latest novel in the self-promotion folder! Here's the link - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Most of my me-time is spent reading or listening to a book. I love most romance sub-genres, but paranormal holds a special place. Vamps, shifters, oh my! These beings, when written right, adds a little something extra to the entire story.

I'm Elissa! I'm a PhD student and I love to spend my free time reading. I love paranormal romance, which I started reading 2 years ago. I've read the Immortals After Dark series, the Fever series, the Psy-Changeling series, the Dark-Hunter series (I'm 2 behind), the Night Huntress series, the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, the Midnight Breed series (also, 2 behind), the Demonica Series, the Lords of the Underworld series, etc.
Fun fact about me is that I did karaoke for the first time this year, which shocked my classmates. They underestimated my rapping skills lol!
Anyway, I love recommendations, so please feel free to tell me what I should be reading!

Howdy! My name is Gen. I read and write paranormal romance and urban fantasy. I'm also a big fan of the horror genre. I love a good ghost story.

I read and write paranormal romances and love just living in their world.
Glad to meet everyone!

Paranormal and Urban Fantasy has been one of my all time favorite genres. Vampires, werewolves, modern magic, the supernatural walking among us unseen. Love it.
I love Neil Gaiman, Mike Carey, Clive Barker, Laurell Hamilton, Patricia Briggs, Jim Butcher, Charlaine Harris, Kim Harrison, Richard Kadrey, China Melville, Lilith Saintcrow and others I can't bring to the front of my brain right now.
I love erotic romances as well. If a story combines dark urban fantasy and sexy romance, all the better! I love it so much I started writing it myself. Crafting a world of Lovecraftian horror to wrap gently (or not so gently) around couples in love.

I'm Shelique. Mother of two daughters, ten months apart and wife. My husband and I knew each other from in high school(never dated) and worked at Mc Donalds together. Seven years later I found him on Facebook, went on a date and got married 3 months later. Now forward five years later and he's my bestfriend.
I love the paranormal world. Buffy The Vampire Slayer was the first vampire TV show I remember watching. I loved True Blood(TV show), the books for me though, aren't that great. However, I still find myself catching up on the books, so maybe i'm not giving them enough credit.
I'm also catching up on Vampire Diaries on Netflix, I love pizza and I released my debut novel in 2014. I self published Velicious Part One on Amazon and learned so much. Up and downs. And let me tell you, finding a good editor is essential.
I've been catching up on my reading. I run a review blog and I love helping indie authors, like myself.

Hi there everyone :) My names Kristen and I literally just joined this group like a few seconds ago. I am a HUGE book lover and felt the need to join this group! I absolutely love reading the Paranormal/Romance genre but I do read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. There isn't much exciting or interesting to say about myself...but I'm excited to be apart of this group and looking forward to finding more books to read ;)
PS apologies in advance, I don't have the best grammar or punctuation skills but I will try to keep this in mind and do my best to keep these rules :). Also I am usually told that I'm quite random and tend to waffle a bit when excited or nervous. So if I'm waffling too much...just ignore me haha

Try reading the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. It is a great series with two additional spin offs series with characters from the Night Huntress series. I believe you might enjoy them
