Yes, I am a writer too but reading is my first love and I'm always looking for an excuse to take my hands off the keyboard and sink into a good story. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I've been looking around and am super excited about this month's read. It's been on my wishlist for a little while, but since you all are reading it, I thought it was time to take the plunge. I must admit, that my to-read list has grown quite a bit after looking through some of the posts.
I read A LOT of fantasy and Sci fi and I love all the tiny groupings in the middle.

I'm a 39 belgian lady who loves to read and the last time it often is (urban) fantasy ,ya or books with a paranormal twist. My favourtites are at this moment in this genre Laini Taylor,Michael Grant and so many I still have to discover. Angelfall is also a book I want to read so I think i'm at the right place here to give and get some tips...

I'm a rabid reader (4-6 books/week) who is relatively new to the paranormal romance/urban fantasy genre, but I am LOVING it!
I'm having a wonderful time discovering indie writers and all of the different genre shoot offs that exist. I've always been a hopeless romantic and a lover of all things magic, so this genre is tailor made for me… ;) I'm thrilled to be here and looking forward to chatting with you all!

I'm Alex from the UK and I'm a reader and writer of paranormal romance and erotica. I'm a big fan of vampire romance in particular and have recently written my first vampire novella. I'm looking forward to discovering more great books in this genre.

I joined this group a week or two ago, and I think I forgot to introduce myself. Well, here we go :)
My name is Lyn, I'm a romantic at heart who loves all things magical.
I love meeting new people and chatting about books, fantasy worlds, or nothing in particular. LOL
Some of my favorite authors are: Kresley Cole, Nalini Singh, Larissa Ione, Patricia Briggs...
But lately I've been in some kind of funk, and I'd love some recommendations. I'm searching for something that could keep me up all night :)

Thanks Tina for your suggestions, I actually just started reading Maya Banks. We'll see how it goes :)

Aww, you are SOOOO needed. Not enough caring nurses for our elderly.
Kuddos for all that you do.

I give you kudos and a lot of respect for doing long term care, it takes a special person and special nurse for that area. After my first and third clinic experience I knee long term care was not for me.

Hi, Jennifer!

Thirty-three pages of introductions and replies is quite a lot to go through, but I'm enjoying what I see when I dip in here and there. Eventually, I hope to get to know more folks here.
I'm someone who appreciates good writing, and I've always had a taste for the unusual and the exotic. Mainstream fantasy has never appealed to me as much as counterculture fiction. I have a feeling I'll be introduced to some worthwhile options if I pay attention here.
One thing that appealed to me about the introductory rules to this group was the codification of the "happily ever after" rating of a book. I've never been one to seek out books that tried to protect me from the nature of the characters, no matter where that took them.
I'll be looking forward to participating here.

I am EDC Johnson, writer, mother, and art teacher.
My baby girl is turning one soon so much of my free time is spent planning for the festivities. I work for my husband as his social media specialist e.g. doing the webpage and such...yeah, I said I was an art teacher. Well, I was, for over a decade, until my baby was born. So working for hubby allows me to be home on leave with the baby.
Paranormal/scifi/fantasy has always been something I enjoy. This includes the kind of TV, movies and books I like.
Anyway I look forward to lurking around here and finding some new reads.

Hi Tara, I recently finished nursing school as well and state my states last Nov. I have just started working in mental health and love it so far. I am from New Zealand :)

That is wonderful! I love how every nurse as their own area they love!

I take them Monday. I'm a big bundle of nerves, stressing out, and a little worried all at the same time.

Thanks so much :). Trying to take other nurses advice to relax the two days before, but I'm not sure it's working to well. I'll make sure to keep you all posted!

My name is Dee J. Stone. I just joined and wanted to say hi and am looking forward to join in the discussions. I've published a few books, the latest one being a NA Paranormal Romance about a human girl who falls in love with a merman. My other novels are about superheroes and about a girl who is cursed to turn into a half snake. This place looks like a lot of fun :)

I was christened Adriano, but have always found the name too pompous and important, and, though I regard the Roman Emperor with my name as a gay icon, whose romantic love is heart-rending, I have normally been called Ade in the UK (for Italian speakers, I will let you imagine the jokes on my name...).
Ok, what do I read? I'm a great lover of classics and poetry, and I believe Wuthering Heights is possibly the greatest romance ever written: so visceral, so strong...
I love Literature, Art, Music, History and Philosophy, and have a passion for Classical and Medieval languages, History and Literatures.

I love any type of YA fantasy, paranormal and dystopian as well as contemporary, Shakespeare, Greek tragedy and poetry.
I love British history, mainly Tudor period. And I am doing my PhD in European Politics right now.
I'd love to get to know people on here and discuss books!

I'm N.D. and I'm currently a nursing student and single mother in the big ol' state of Texas. I co-author epic urban fantays/PNR novels with a good friend named Alisha.
I'm very fond of reading books in the same genre, an avid Dresden Files reader, and I love the show Supernatural.

I am an author but don't hold it against me! I'm even more a reader :) I read across all romance genres but always come back to my first love: dragon shifters, wolves ect... Thank you for having me,
Susannah
Hi, I'm Lola and I was really happy to discover this group because paranormal and fantasy romance are my favorite genre. I'm a big fan of L.J. Smith, J.K. Rowling and Cassandra Clare.

I enjoy reading paranormal romance. Some of my favorite authors include, but are not limited to, Deborah Harkness, Darynda Jones, Richelle Mead, and J.R. Rain. I'm anxiously awaiting the 2nd book in Riley Murphy's Embrace Your Soul series, and have been tossing around the idea of starting Rebecca Zanetti's Dark Protectors series soon.
