Hey Crystal, you might be interested in my book The Sin Collector. http://www.amazon.com/The-Sin-Collect...
It will be free on March 2nd, Read Across America Day!
I'll stick my oar in for my wife's debut novel,
. Heavy on drama, romance, and sensuality, but no graphic sex. Take a free peek on Kindle ("Look Inside").

I can't wait to see what this group is all about. :)

Welcome, Lanie! We're glad to have you here.

I am still somewhat new to goodreads, having been directed here from the amazon forums and I have to admit that it is somewhat overwhelming but in a good way.
I love romance novels in general but I greatly enjoy PNR - it is interesting to read about alternate realities where vampires and shape shifters exist, where anything can happen - and usually does. I like the different takes on vamps and weres and all of the other thigns that go bump in the night because in PNR, the rules are made to be broken.
I look forward to trying to contribute my little words of wisdom (or foolishness) to the group!!

My name is Annette (And Roxy Rex, this is a shared account)
I've been on goodreads for about a week. I do love to review books, but you'll see that I'm really harsh on some. That's just my inner bookworm taking over me.
Don't hesitate to PM us or comment and review on our writing. I really appreciate any constructive critism.
My likes:
If you didn't already know from my user name, I AM A HOMESTUCK FAN. If you're one too, don't hesitate to send a friend request... yes, Nepeta is my favorite troll (Aradia is Roxy's... lulz, she has the same name as Lalonde)
I LOVE Charles Dickens. I am a huge fan of his, as well as Charlotte Bronte.
My favorite musician is the lovely and talented Emilie Autumn.
We work at a year round Halloween store.
That's about it!

My names Samantha and I'm a stay at home mom in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. I have two kids (three if you include my man-child of a husband LOL) and three cats.
On the reading side, I'm a fan of everything from Sci-Fi to fantasy to romantic suspense to paranormal romance. My all time favorite authors are Christopher Pike, Dean Koontz, Sherrilyn Kenyon and Kelley Armstrong.
As an author, my debut e-novel Twist of Fate was released in mid-february of this year. It's the first book in a trilogy called the Blood Rose Series. The second book in the series titled Crimson Moon will be released in April or May 2012. Both books are through No Boundaries Press.

I have been on Goodreads for awhile now. I just haven't had the chance to actually join in groups till now. I'm really looking forward to talk about these amazing books.
I read all sorts of sci-fi, and paranormal books. Paranormal romance has been my favorite for a few years now.

I'm Diane from Chicago. I am married with one son an a housefull of pets.
I usually read a couple of books a week. I love science fiction, fantasy, paranormal, and historic fiction. I just finished Fair Game by Patricia Briggs and The Darkest Seduction by Gena Showalter.

Welcome everyone!!!

First off I'll admit I was introduced to Goodreads just a couple of days ago when a friend told me about it, and that he'd put my new novel MetaMagik on his favourites list. However, since semi-cynicaly joining to help promote my book I've learned two things.
One is that I've read a hell of a lot of books. I've been adding books erratically to 'My Books' and still haven't scratched the surface of the pile of titles I've read so far in my life.
The second thing I've learned is, there is a like minded group of bibliophiles out there on the internet, and how grateful I am to have found them.
You can read the bio on my author's page, all of which is true, but it is there to help me sell books. The me behind the public face is a middle aged man with health problems. I suffer from Chronic Pain Syndrome, which in recent years has effected my mobility, to the extent that I have to spend most of my life lying on my bed here in Brighton, England. The upside to this is that I have a lot of time to read, and write of course.
As you can imaging, it would be very difficult for me to attend a book club, so this site is a great way for me to discuss books.
I'm interested in paranormal romance partly because it is one of the categorys on Amazon where my own novel fits (this is the last time I'll plug my book, if you want to know more about it please check it out on this site). Genre is odd, is it not; does a book like The Raw Shark Texts (which I heartily recommend) fit in with this group? I have no idea. However, I am always on the lookout for new books, and I'm sure I will find some good suggestions from this group. I look forward to sharing our joint love of literature with you all.
Love & peace,
Zero

just joined so wanted to say hello and I look forward to getting some suggestions for new books as I have no book to read at the moment and don't know which one to choose!
I really want a good paranormal/fantasy romance ya novel any ideas?
thanks

My friend introduced me to this site and since I joined, I have found myself happy to spend several hours on here.
I'm also a child of the Dark ... I love anything Vampire, Werewolf, Romance, Adventure and Fantasy. When you check out my shelf, you will notice that I enjoy a variety of books, though I prefer Vampire novels.
I look forward to many hours of enjoyment from everyone's news and reviews.

I love paranormal romances, along with mystery, suspense, fantasy but will give most books a shot.

I will read dairy free cookbooks and Wiccan books since I am a Wiccan myself and can't have dairy at all. I'm always looking for a new, good romance book to read, but lately I have been disappointed with some authors. Hopefully I can find some new ones while being a member of this group! ^_^
Lots of new people!! Welcome, everyone!! This is a great group! :)

Welcome, Daniela!!
Welcome, Daniela!!

I write stories, myself, though none of them seem to be PNR. But, still tend to run to the "dark" side, so I've been told. ;)
I was REALLY excited about this website, what a GREAT idea! I am CONSTANTLY looking for something new to read. I tend to read 2-3 books at once and I finish them too quickly.

I also write about autism on PsychologyToday.com. I always wanted to write a book about autism, but then I ended up writing something totally unrelated, which was a lot of fun.
I LOVE reading paranormal romances and urban fantasy books. :-) So I am glad I joined here. I am always looking for new books to read in this genre....I have a total Kindle addiction. LOL :-) It will be great to get recommendations on new books.

I’m a retired Computer Desktop Support Specialist, and I live in north-central Wisconsin with my wife, my garden and my music. My two adult children have flown the coup. With the nest empty, I have lots of time to read. I’ve also decided to try my hand at writing. I’ve currently got two books published under the name S. C. Mitchell.
I’m looking to get involved here in the discussions and pick up some new authors to follow, and inspire my own work.

Steve I recently started Dark Hunters and I love the series so far! (Next up for me there is

Don't forget to check the self promotion folder so you authors not get in trouble.

My name is Kate and I'm a big fan of urban fantasy & paranormal so I thought I'd fit into this group just fine. I'm in college studying law and business management, and in my free time I read a lot, write a lot (working on a few WIPs of different genres, paranormal / urban fantasy included), and I love sports and gaming.
Looking forward to being active in this group! :)

I'm a 22 yro single mum from Australia & am pretty new to paranormal romance & urban fantasy but geez do I love it! =)

My real name is Filip, but you can better call me Law (that's a character from my novels that I like a lot). I'm 20 and I live in Croatia. I started writing in July 2006, at my age of 15. I started with poetry. Now I'm more of a novel writer, but I still write poems sometimes. I'm new on Goodreads, a friend introduced me to this site a few days ago. I really don't know much about it, so don't laugh at me for being lost and confused, please! :D
Unfortunately, I can't post my prose here because I write in Croatian, and it's kinda too long to translate. I can only post my poems and eventually summaries of my novels.
The title of this group attracted my attention because it reminds me of a fictional couple from my novel "Return to the dreams". I could say something about it if anyone wants to know. :D
I hope to get along well with you, guys, and to find myself in this community and learn how to work with this site properly. :D
Greetings from Croatia,
Law/Filip
