Thank you my friend and when you're in Jacksonville FL area, give me a holler. We gotta hook up on some read so we can chat again, miss ya.

Here's a warning ladies, do leave Adam - Highlander series alone. Keri has a real problem with sharing this yummy hotness.

Hay Sam,
This is anukriti, I am also very much found of paranomical romance, I read twilight sagaTwilight, aganeu series byLynsay Sands which is my favorite because in this u found the touch of romance, action, houmer, and with the special touch of loving family bounding they all have, so if any one ever like to see the life of vampiers, and really don't want the lifeless dead creeps with no heartbeat that's the one we want then.
And for the shape shifter one I personal admire Hunger Untamed byPamela Palmer series of farel warriors, it always be a full to read it with lots of action, flow of emotions and lots of intimate romance,
I really hope u enjoy it

LMAO! I luv you, you're too much. Haha! Can't help it's the only child thing. (Only child = only child syndrome = does not share well w/others) Heehee. This is definitely true where my man Adam is concerned. Lol. I miss you too and will definitely give ya a holler when I'm next in your area. You going to do the Memorial Day challenge? I'm doing it this month. I'll post the link below in case you wanna join in(I'm post #12 in case you look for my list on there). Am reading some new books and added a lot to my "to-read" list. If you see anything on it (in addition to what's on my "read" list) you like message me and let me know. I've already gotten a lot of the books on the list & they're just waiting for me to have time to read them. (As always, I'm more than happy to share with ya) ;) Take care and we'll gab soon!!!

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3072 comments Thanks Keri. I haven't done and don't know how the challenges work. I don't think I'd be good at it bc my reading depends on my library and the latest advice from my GR friends. You take care too.

Welcome newbies...didn't I mentioned you'll meet lots of nice friends?

I remember you telling me you use the library. However, I think I can more than cover ya in books if you want to participate. I literally have hundreds & since you're a friend of mine, am more than willing to share. Check the link out. It's easy. You just pick a book for a category listed on the challenge (you don't have to do each category, just one, or more than one if you prefer. I'm a fast reader so I always do one book for each category). You begin reading on May 1st for the challenge and have until the end of May to finish it.
I don't want you to not participate just because of book availablity. I've got ya covered on that one. You just let me know what ya need if you can't get it. Not tryin to push you into it, but plz don't not do it b/c of book availabilty at the library. Like I said, I can take care of that easily enough. I also have dozens of books that I have which aren't listed on my GR list, there's just too many of them for me to want to take time to list them also.
Lol, I still remember how stoked you were when I sent you Shadowfever! That really blessed me to see how happy it made you. ;) GREAT series!!!! Lookin forward to the next one KMM's workin on set in the Fever world. ;p hmmmmmmmmmm think Adam Black (sighs wistfully) will make another debut, this one hopefully much much longer? (wiggles eyebrows up and down) ;p

Keri | 158 comments Lol, I know you were. I had more fun from your reaction when you received the book than I did from reading the series and that's saying a heck of a LOT let me tell ya ;p Certainly made me smile ;)

Sounds good though. Has anyone heard what KMM is naming the next series set in the Feverworld or when the first book will be released?

Keri, good question, maybe the KMM group might know. I had the feeling there's got to be more but no confirmation from anyone. The making of Barrons and his team is to die for. I'm sure you will keep me posted and vice-versa. Take care.

Welcome newbies, GR is so great!

Aimee Laine (aimee_laine) | 49 comments Hi! I'm Aimee ... a romantic at heart (with a serious bent toward the paranormal — but NOT vamps — can you believe it?). I'm southern transplant with a bit of the accent (but not a whole bunch). With an MBA and a degree in Applied Mathematics, there’s absolutely no reason I should be writing romance novels (especially ones with people who defy the laws of logic). Then again, I shouldn't need a calculator to add two numbers, either ... but I really, really, really, do. Tada! That's me in a nutshell (or a nut out of her shell — one of the two).

It's great to find groups on here with so many people with similar interests. Although I've been around Goodreads for a good few weeks now, it's taking me a while to find my bearings. I'm getting there now, though :)

Jessica Hey there! :D
My name is Jessica. The first paranormal(well vampire/wolf paranormal) book I read was Twilight.. I liked it at first but now i just hate it... Not trying to offend anyone who likes it :S... I read the first 3 of the series but then i started reading the last one and it was too boring so I never finished it. And that was in 2007 or 2008...
After Twilight I thought this genre was crap so I stopped reading it. But last year in 2010 my friend showed me the 'Vampire Academy' series and O.M.G I loved it.. and after that I started reading HEAPS of paranormal book :D..

yea... anyway if you don't remember the names Jessica (or Jess, dont mind). I'm from Australia..

Miguel Conner | 18 comments This seems like a great dark kingdom for me, especially since there is a Game of Thrones section!!!

I am the author of 'Stargazer', a dystopian vampire epic, as well as 'Voices of Gnosticism', a scholarly book on the Gnostics and other ancient heretics. I am also the host of Aeon Byte Gnostic Radio, a popular webcast dealing with all things occult and forbidden and wondrous.

I'm a huge fantasy and science fiction fan, as well as a lay scholar on mythology, the esoteric, and comparative religion. Where fiction and heresy meet is where spiritual and mental liberation detonate and we become boundless!

Other than that, I'm not much into colorful, Dionysian language.

message 682: by Sylvie (new)

Sylvie Hi everyone! I'm Sylvie and I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area. I've been crazy about vampires ever since I first saw Barnabas Collins get busy with the fangs! How many years ago? Too many to count!
Now, be it movies, TV or books, if it has fangs I'm there. Especially books. A few of my favorite authors are Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, P.N. Elrod, Tanya Huff, J.R. Ward, Charlaine Harris, Jeaniene Frost, Christine Feehan, Lynsay Sands, Kerrelyn Sparks, Alexandra Ivy, Lara Adrian, Adrian Phoenix, D.B. Reynolds, Marta Acosta, as well as lots of others. I'm always looking out for my next favorite read, so I look forward to lots of good book discussions!

message 683: by J.A. (new)

J.A. Belfield (jabelfield) Hi, Sylvie. Good to have you here! I'll confess I'm more of a wolf girl myself, but I still enjoy some vampire literature. I read one of Alexandra Ivy's a few months back, something to do with the phoenix and a vampire called Dante (????). It was a hoot. :)

Have you read the Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur? The main character is 1/2 vamp 1/2 wolf. You should try the series. I really enjoyed reading them. All the books are out too so you don't have to worry about any cliffhangers. ;)

Hi Jeanine. Here's how I'm jugling so many series, I'm a fast reader and have a long list of books on hold at the library so I end up reading whichever book in each series comes available lol. Plus I have a 5 yr old who rarely sleeps (has sleep apnea) so I end up staying up with him till wee hours of the morning. so I get a lot of reading done that way.
Has anyone read "Vampires Rule" by K.C. Blake? It's an awesome series!
