Bath Tangle will be my next book (after Bleak House) and I am very excited for it. I am glad you like it since not many people seem to. I will surely let you know what I think of all three! :)

I just bought North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell and Hadassah One Night With the King by Tommy Tenney . So excited to start reading them!

Thank you! I still have many paperbacks that need to be read, and I don't think I'll stop buying them either, but it'll be nice to get some freebies sometimes and save a bit of money...even though ,as you pointed out, I must beware of the one click button! :P

Freebies are one of the best parts of kindle.It is nice to get some books that you really want to read for free.

Yes, I have seen the BBC mini-series, and I absolutely love it!! It's one of my favorite movies ever. :D Right up there with P&P. ;)


Hey Alice! :D Yep, I love the movie of N&S, and I know I will love the book too. :) It does seem a bit slow starting out, but I'm guessing that will change.

Yes definitely! Not the same as having them paperback, but if I really love a book, I can always buy it again in physical copy ;)

Thank you Soph!!! :) I am so excited! I don't think I will regret it, you're right. It'll be great having both physical and electronic versions of books.

Enjoy I really enjoyed both Lady of Quality(which was my second Heyer)and Faro's Daughter.I haven't read Sylvester just yet.Let me know what you think of them.

I liked it WAY more than Tom Sawyer! I randomly liked the sub plot with the two "warring" families. :P

you should try Huck. ;) My fav Mark Twain novel was Puddin' Head Wilson. :P You have to either love his writing or dislike it. There's really no middle.

Haha ;D He does have a very different style. I had to read most of his work for school though and I loved Puddin Head Wilson. :P

I haven't read Tom Sawyer yet, tho I really want to. :) Yes, I kinda liked that part too!

I agree, you usually love or hate Twain's writing. ;) I wrote two major school papers on Hunk Finn, so I really got to know it well! :P That's actually the only one of his works I've read (other than a few short stories), but I really got to love his wit and style. :)
