Benjamin knew what Madeline thought of him , he apparently was a no good , a player . Yeah maybe he was those things ! But he would never hurt a girl intentionally .

He didn't care about any girl, much less her. She scolded herself for letting this bring tears to her eyes.
Benjamin just let it go , if she thought that he could be a player than fine he would be. He would prove her right then , and he wouldn't care anymore . He wouldnt talk to her if she didn't want him to .
Madeline looked at the time. Time for her next class. Another one with Benjamin.
Benjamin checked the time to see that he had class . He rolled his eyes and thought , can't wait . He got his bag and left , heading to the next class .
Madeline was the first in and sat down in the front.
Benjamin decided to take his time walking to class , he could care less if he was late . He put his head phones in and saw people from his class walking speedily .
Madeline took out her notes and a pen.
Benjamin had sat down for a while and then got up to get to class . Once he was in class , everyone looked to him as he opened to door and said sarcastically ," Whoops am I late ?".
"Yes," the class echoed. Madeline didn't. There was only one seat left. Next to her. She wasn't sure if she was glad or annoyed.
Benjamin smirked at the class and then said to the teacher ," Sorry ". He went to silently sit down and saw that the only seat left was next to Madeline . So he went and say down next to her , getting out his notepad and his pen without looking or saying a word to her .
Madeline smiled, but noticed he didn't even look at her. What idiot part of her had actually believed him enough to think he would notice? She dug through her bag to hide herself wiping tears from her eyes.

Benjamin realised he was being too mean , and that wasn't him . He didn't want to be nor did he ever want to be mean to her . Not intentionally . He tried to play it calmly . He tapped her shoulder lightly and whispered ," The teacher has tissue stuck to his butt ".
She bit her tongue and nodded. She looked down forcing tears not to well in her eyes until after class. Why was she crying over him? He was just another James? Had she really been stupid enough to fall in LOVE with him?
"Madeline ", he whispered sharply , he turned to look at her slightly and said ," Look , I'm sorry . I know I'm being way too arrogant and douchey , and just plain rude . But I'm actually not like that , I dont like you crying over some jack ass like me or James . Because were not worth it ".
She turned away from him, "Please, if you care at least be consistent about it. One minute you could care less if I existed, then you're there for me, consoling me about James, then you won't even look at me, and now you dont want me crying, like you don't want to hurt me. Look I'm sorry if I bug you, but don't break me."
Benjamin turned back to her ," That's just who I am . But I'm not doing it in a harmful way , yes I joke around a lot and maybe joke way too much . But I don't want to see you crying about it . Stop comparing me and James , because we are not the same , nor will I ever be like him".
"How would you know?" she snapped, "You never met him!"
Benjamin smiles and says," You say he was exactly like me ; a player , that he was confusing , and that he sent you missed signals. You make him sound like me". Then he turned to her sharply and whispered angrily," Your being like me and James , your being confusing too . One minute your all nice and the next your not . Instead of telling me to make up my mind , why don't you make up your own ?". Benjamin stared at her for a few seconds then slumped back slowly , with the end of his pen in his mouth .
Madeline bit her tongue. She almost liked him better when he was annoying and mean but at least talking to her, "Yeah, well, you try being in my shoes. This WOULD have been my anniversary i my boyfriend hadn't been cheating on me. On top of that our relationship ended 3 days ago. So, my hearts broken and fragile. Now I'm meeting a confusing guy who one minute is nice and really cute the next a hateful JERK. Part of me wants to give my heart to him and I'm not sure if it's for a distraction from James or if I really care. Part of me wants to protect my fragile heart. So I have two reasons not to. One, to protect myself, and two I don't want anything that isn't real. But then you stand super close and I can barely breathe and well...you get the picture. So you deciding first might be really helpful." Then she hissed, "If I ever become you or James I will jump out a 10 story window. Got it?"
Benjamin watched in fascination as she told him all the things he wanted to hear , his lips parted lightly and he blushed slightly .He looked down and smirked when she mentioned the closeness .
What he did next shocked both him and would probably annoy the heck out of Madeline but he didn't think then .
He kissed her .
Her eyes bulged. Her body stiffened. She felt everybody's eyes on them. She remembered James. Time stopped. Her breath froze. His lips were locked on hers. Her hands, like slow motion, drifted to his shoulders. And finally, possibly reluctantly although she wasn't sure. She kissed back.
He felt her stiffen but then relax . He kissed her softly and gently , he didn't care whether people were watching or not , because this moment was important to him .He put his hand on the side of her face , the tip of his fingers going in her smooth hair . People started to murmur and cheer a bit .
Madeline pulled away slowly unsure whether she wanted more or less. As people began cheering she felt sheepish and awkward. "Stop," she whispered. She didn't like all the people watching her. She didn't like that her kiss had been so public when she still had doubts on whether or not she had wanted it. She didn't like this moment. It was too much. She liked a quieter kiss. But he was a good kisser...
Benjamin shook his head and laughed at the cheering , he looked at everyone and said ," Alright alright enough ". Then he looked at Madeline and chuckled lightly , he could tell she was embarrassed by the redness in her cheeks .
The teacher raised an eyebrow at him , cross his arm and said ," You done ?".
Benjamin smirked and said ," I'm not quite sure ". He nodded his head apologetically for the teacher to continue .
Madeline didn't know what to do now. Listen to the teacher and take notes? Curl up on Ben's lap? Pretend in never happened? Puke with nervous embarassment? She found she didn't have choice with the last one. She puked and ran from the room leaving everything behind way to embarassed by the kiss AND getting sicck in class.
Benjamin looked as she threw up , and looked at everyone's faces . Shock and horror . He then ran out to chase after her , leaving his stuff behind . He ran after her and caught her wrist , he breathed heavily . Then he leaned down slowly to look down at her and said softly ," Your face is going red . We should take you to the nurse ".
She pulled her hand away blushing harder, "I'm just embarassed. Even JAMES wasn't cocky enough for a stunt like that in the middle of class. I'm not good under that kind of pressure. I don't being noticed like that."
Benjamin looked at her and said ," Let's not worry about that right now , in case you haven't notice your not looking good . Your face is all hot and flustered ". He turned her around so that her back was to him and he guided her with his hands on her shoulders .
"We can talk about what I did later , not now ".
"I'm only hot and flustered BECAUSE of what happened in there." she really didn't feel well though. She felt a little dizzy but it was just emotions toying with how she felt. It was scientifically possible to do so.
Benjamin sighed and pushed her slightly from the shoulders , still guiding her ."No its not , your really hot and feverish , so stop looking for excuses and get going . Because I'm not giving up so easily ".
She rolled her eyes, "Ben, I'm fine. Really. I'm just not the get kissed in class with cheers all around type. I'm perfectly fine otherwise."
Benjamin spun her around again , leaving bis hands on her shoulders and looked deep into her eyes ," Are you sure ?". He wouldn't be able to tell if she was lying or not but he could try , and he would try his hardest .
She closed her eyes, suddenly feeling tired and more than a little dizzy, "I just need a nap. Help me to my dorm and I'll be fine." Then she collapsed into his arms, out cold. MAybe it had been more than the kiss.
Benjamin gasped and caught her in his arms . He put one of her arms around his broad shoulders , and lifted her up off the ground .She clearly couldnt stand and he wasnt going to leave her . He could feel her body heat.
He carried her to her dorm and kicked opened the door roughly . He placed her on the bed , and got her some cold water , he made her part her lips lightly and swallow the refreshing liquid .
She broke out in a sweat. She was starting to have a slight fever.
Benjamin got a towel and wet it with cold water . He put it on her forehead . Then he got a cup and filled it with ice , letting the ice melt slightly so that he could dip the towel in there.
(( got to go for about 45 minutes , but I'll be back ))

(( sorry I'm back now , it didn't take so long ))Benjamin laughed at her sudden reaction and walked over to her bed , he leaned down and said ," It will make you feel cooler , don't worry it will make your temperature go down ".

(( oh yeah !)) Benjamin took the towel from her head , he took off her shoes and tucked her in . He made a cup of tea, turned around to face her and asked ," Do you take sugar ?".
((thats her right now.))
"No. I don't really like tea. I'm just wierd like that," she yawned.

Benjamin gasped as a joke ,"You don't like tea !?". Then he shrugged and said ," Oh well tea for me then ". He added two sugars and stirred the mixture . He sat down next to her bed and said ,"Do you want a hot water bottle to put on your belly ?".
She cocked an eyebrow at him like 'are u serious?' "You still didn't answer why I'm in bed, freezing, and have towel on my head."
Benjamin wiggled his eyebrows and said ," Don't just me , it actually helps ". He started to prepare a hot water bottle, he wrapped it in a thing towel and said ," Put it on your belly , because your sick ".
Benjamin sat down near her bed and leaned up against the wall , he sighed and sipped his tea .
"do you happen to know what I'm sick WITH?" Madeline felt cranky. She realized she had slipped into French. It had come out more like, "Do you happen to sachez avec ce que je suis MALADE?"
