She bit her tongue. He thought he was all that, some kinda lady killer. Well he wasn't, "You may think you're so handsomely attractive and oh so charming but your not SO GET OUT OF MY LIFE!"

Benjamin stopped in his tracks and turned around slowly , he looked at her . Gave a soft smile and shook his head ," Sweetheart , I was never in your life ". Then he left without another glance or word . He decided to wonder the university .
She didn't know what to say to that. 'Don't call me sweetheart?' or 'You're kinda shoving yourself into my life' but the one that she had ALMOST said was 'What was that favor you wanted anyways?'
Benjamin sat on the grass near the wooden tables and chairs area , the outside lunch hall . He looked around and sighed , he thought ; What am I doing here ?But he didnt know the answer himself .
He got out his phone and decided to ring his little brother .
Maddi made her way to the library. It was right by the lunch hall so once again he was there. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "What was that favor you needed? I won't be able to live with myself if I knew I had been a jerk to someone who needed my help."
He was surprised to see her , so he just looked at her . He said into the phone ," Buddy , I'll call you back later . Alright , see ya ". He closed his phone and lay back down on the grass ." Dont worry about it ", he said ," I dont need it anymore ". He really didnt.
Great. He had been messing with her. He knew she would just HAVE to ask what it is. She swore at him in French and then in English said, "I knew it." or should have.
Benjamin started to get frustrated , he got up from sitting down and stood up . "You knew what ? Huh ? What did you know ?", he said angrily ," Don't come to me and act like you know me ! Your were the one who approached me now , so dont act like Im bothering you because really your bothering me ".
"I was heading to the library and feeling guilty that I had blown you off like that when you asked a favor! I hadn't been planning on running into you and then I saw you," she took a breath to calm herself, "I took it as a signal to apologize and help you out. Then you 'Don't need it anymore' and I SHOULD have known that a cocky, overconfident, heartless, player like YOU would have tried that. Asking for something just to make me feel guilty enough to try and like you. Well, I don't and I'm not an idiot so you can stop playing your stupid game." He was hot. WHAT?! I DID NOT SERIOUSLY JUST THINK THAT ABOUT HIM!!!!!!
Benjamin got closer to her, breathes and inches away . He said firmly ," What makes you think I want you to like me ? What makes you think I care about what you think of me !? Your nothing more than any of the other girls I approach . No , in fact your lower than them ! Your just like every other girl I hit on . I dot care if you felt sorry for me , I don't want your sympathy , nor do I want your friendship !".Benjamin was out of breath as he breathed heavily , his chest rising and falling .
But you did look sexy when you were telling me off , Benjamin thought . His eyes widened slightly but then he contained himself .
She hardened her eyes and looked him in the eyes, "Because though you may be a player your smart enough to know you can't play your stupid dating game you play with all the other girls with me unless I like you. I'm not as niave as you think I am. I know you don;t care about me or what I think of you you care what you can get out of me and let me tell you this. I'm not that type. I'm not the type to be played by hot guys on the streets of Paris like you." When she realized she said 'hot' and 'like you' in the same sentence she took a step back and stammered, "I mean the player part, not hot, I mean generally you might be attractive-TO OTHER GIRLS, certainly not me, i mean-" She darted off to the library as she felt her cheeks turning pink. She cursed herself in French.
Benjamins head was down as she was telling him off but when he heard the words ,"hot " and "attractive " he raised his head and smirked . He watched her as she got worked up and stuttered about how other girls might find him attractive when really it was her who found him attractive . He chuckled lightly as she just went off and into the library .He watched her go and then lay on the grass again . He whispered to himself," I've already got you wrapper around my finger ". He knew he was being a cocky , over confident person but hell that's who he was .
She ran into the library bathroom and saw that she was blushing firetruck red, "Oh my gosh. I cannot believe I said that to HIM! Oh my gosh, I am such an idiot."
Eventually Benjamin went back to his dorm . He couldn't get the smirk on his face to go away . When he walked in all he saw was John knocked out with one of the girls , the rest had probably gone. Benjamin lay on his bed , put his hands behind his head and looked up at the window on the roof . The stars . He liked looking at stars .
After calming down and finishing her studying she went back to her dorm. She tried to forget about it. She prayed he would pretend it had never happened as well but she doubted it. She sighed and laid down.
Benjamin laughed to himself as he got up , even though John and some girl were sleeping , he was going to turn the volume on full blast and play loud music . Just to annoy Madeline . He turned the music on and suddenly John and the girl awoke. John screamed ," What the hell dude !!"
Benjamin just smirked and waited .
Madeline groaned and put the pillow over her head. What. Was. His. DEAL?!
Benjamin sat on the chair and put his feet on the desk . He turned up the music more and put the bass on , making little vibration happen. He sat there with a smirk on his face and waited .
Madeline got up in a rage. She was sick and tired of him. She came over and banged on his door. If he didn't open up she'd use him for martial arts practice tomorrow.
As soon as Benjamin heard the angry knock , he shot up from his chair and turned down the music . He went to open the door and saw Madeline . He smirked at her .
"Really? Didn't you get enough satisfaction trying to play with my emotions, play me in general, embarass me, AND ruin my studying?! CAN'T YOU LEAVE THE MUSIC OFF AT 11 'O CLOCK AT NIGHT?!" she screamed inches from his face. She could smell his sweet cologne she was so close.
Benjamin ignored everything she said , he could smell her from here , he could feel her breathe . And he loved it . He smirked at her and said ," You think I'm hot huh ?".
She hated the way he said that, "Not like you care." She backed away a little hurt that he hadn't listened to anything she had said but that. The one thing she regretted.
As Madeline backed away he stepped forward , closer . He smirked and said ," Hey , o was listening to what you said . I was only playing loud music to get your attention ". He stuck his hands in his jean pockets , and shrugged helplessly .
She bit her lip. Liar. Liar. He's playing with you don't listen, She felt helpless. Absolutely helpless.
Benjamin gently ran a finger across her lip to where she bit it , she shouldn't bite it. He then removed his hand and said ,"I bet you think I'm lying huh ?".
She pulled away. She hated that she was letting him get to her. Somehow it hurt her to know that this was probably all a game to him, "Seriously, what is your deal? Can't you annoy me WITHOUT trying to break my heart too?" He was so much like him. Too much like him. The more she spoke to him the more similarities she saw. The easy lies, the twisted kindness, the way he knew every move, every play by heart to the point that a niave person wouldn't know they were being played. She had been niave to fall for James. She wasn't so stupid now.
Benjamin raised his eyebrows and then closed his dorm room door behind him . He leaned on the door and said ," Who was he ?". Even that she hadnt mentioned any guy . He knew , he knew all the well what she was thinking .He looked at her and said ," You think I'm completely clueless don't you ? In fact you hate me because I remind you of him . Whoever he is ".
A tear leaked down her cheek and she looked at the ground, "Like you care. Like you'll EVER really care. I don't matter to you. Who he was doesn't matter to you. You don't care so you can stop pretending."

Benjamin stepped forward and wiped her tear away , he then stepped back and said softly ,"No you assume I dont care . But whatever he did doesn't matter anymore so forget him ". Benjamin shrugged .

I thought we were going to be forever; that's what he ALWAYS told me! I broke up with him yesterday over it but that doesn't give me enough to time to get over him! You happy, yet?! You know that I'm heartbroken, it's wide open for you to break without even having to take me to dinner now, and you know why I hate your sorry guts! You're a player just like him. I may have stupid then but it doesn't take genius to put heart break 1 and 2 together to get you."

Im not , I go with girls who I know dont want a relationship , I pick my girls wisely whereas your stupid ex boyfriend didnt . I havent found that special someone yet , so why should I change ?". He got off the wall and said angrily ," I havent found that special someone because all girls are like you ! They judge me on what theyve heard and what they see but they dont ever really get to know me ". Benjamin shook his head and laughed bitterly , he stuck his hands in his pockets and said," Its like me judging you because your quiet , because your a book worm . I could judge you and say that your one of those girls who sits in her room and does nothing but fantasize about what her life could really be ". Benjamin shrugged and gave her a half hearted look , he couldnt be bother to change her mind about him anymore .

She bit her lip, "sorry, but even if you weren't like him, I don't think I could REALLY fall in love with ANYONE after only 2 days. I'm not that type. If you really somehow care about me then wait. But I can't deal with a relationship only 2 days after finding out he cheated on me. I-I-I thought we were everything, that maybe I wasn't like all the other girls he played. I had KNOWN he was a player but I thought we were different. I was a stupid idiot and you thinking I'm judging you but still acting like your interested in me doesn't help. I'm sorry but my heart needs time to mend. Just turn the music down and let me sleep."

Benjamin stepped forward and buried her in a hug . He held her tightly , in a way he felt sorry for her , she couldn't help feeling this way . He whispered ," Sorry about the music , I would have been pissed too ".
He pulled away and said ," Who said anything about me being interested in you ?" He laughed at the end to make it sound like a joke. He was at his door , with his hand on the door knob ,"Good night Madeline ". And then he walked into his room and shut the door to see John staring at him with a smirk .
Madeline blinked. Hug. No like. Then a sweet kind of good night. What. was. he. PLAYING AT?!
Benjamin sat at his desk just talking with John . He couldn't sleep yet , he could never really sleep . So he kept John up with him . Eventually Benjamin fell asleep with his head on the desk .
Maddi went to bed, confused about what Ben was thinking of her. And what she thought of him.
Next morning .Benjamin woke up to a alarm . Beep ! Beep ! He bashed it to the ground and groaned , his head still on the desk table . He pushed his head up and rubbed his hair . He yawned and shook John .
"Wake up man ", Benjamin shook John and he awoke slowly .
Madeline was already up and had dismissed last night for a nightmare. She finished her hair. Today she and promised herself she woud do it. She gathered all her pictures of James and tears began to fill her eyes. She put them through the paper shredder, "Don't come back. All you ever di was hurt me." Tears leaked from her eyes across her cheeks.

(( I can't see right now because I'm on my phone ))Benjamin went to the bathroom and had a quick shower. He dressed in black denim jeans , a black v neck and army boots .
He didn't really want to go to class but he only had two classes today . Both lectures , on history and English literature .

Benjamin turned on the stereo , he kept it at the minimum level . Him and John messed around , playing air guitar and drums . Benjamin and John laughed . Benjamin packed his things in his side bag and put on his trench coat .
Madeline wiped her eyes and knew they were still red. She put on her jacket and headed out. It was simple, classy, and beige.
Benjamin said bye to John and walked put the door . He stopped to see Madeline , he walked past quietly and said ," Good morning hot stuff". He smiled jokingly and walked out to his class .
She bit her lip. Couldn't he tell she'd been crying? Couldn't he at least leave him alone when he KNEW she was trying to deal with a broken heart. She had English first. She wished she knew more people in that class for once.

Benjamin got a packet of gum out of his pocket and place some gum in his mouth . He looked out at the university and went right . His first class was english . That's where he was headed . Great , he thought , a nice long lecture on how authors use the English language . He rolled his eyes .
As she noticed she and Ben were heading in the same direction she almost started crying again. That's how much her emotions went nuts around him I think your cute. Now I hate you. Now I'm blushing. Now I want to kill you. Now I want to cry. Now I want a hug from you. Ugh. HE DROVE HER NUTS!
