Benjamin just sat there for a while , thinking : that bastard ! He then saw that Madeline was crying so he placed one of his hands on one side of her face and with his thumb rubbed the tears away softly . He smiled at her and said," It's okay now ".

She nodded, biting her lip, "Sorry. He's just a jerk. His words are meaningless." But this made it harder.
Benjamin shook his head , he said softly ," There's no need to apologise ". He rubbed her tears away and smiled at her softly .
She smiled at him, "Thank you, Ben."
He nodded and smiled at her softly ," Don't worry about it ".
Benjamin looked down at her hands and then placed his hands on top of hers to make her stop fiddling . He smiled gently at her and said ," Don't fiddle , that means your nervous or anxious about something ".
She smiled, "Not necessarily. I'm just thinking."
Benjamin smiled and asked ," About what ?". Maybe he was asking too much . Maybe he wasn't .
"About how confusing boys can be," she joked.
Benjamin laughed ," And don't forget about that because its true ". He smiled at her and then moved a hair from her face .
Benjamin smiled at her then leaned his head back . He said ," Madeline , what do you want to do with your life ? Like what do you want to work as ?".
"I want to be an author. I've always loved to write."
Benjamin smiled ," That's really cool , reading is good ". Then he thought about what he wanted to do , but his mind went blank . Nothing .
Benjamin looked at her and then shrugged uncertainly ," I dunno ", he'd never really thought of it. Since his parents were rich he didnt really ever think about it , they always gave him everything.
"Well then why are you at college?" Madeline had grown up on a farm and for a while everyone had just assumed she would ALWAYS be a farm girl. But she had wanted to do something more with her life so she learned English and went to college.
Benjamin laughed ," Good question ! ". Because he didnt even know himself . He turned to face her eye to eye and said softly ," I want to be educated , I want to prove my family wrong for thinking that all I want to do is drop out of school and become a musician ". Then he smiled at how he had played the piano and the guitar and even the violin . He smiled and said ," That's what I want to be, a musician ".
Madeline looked at him, "Really? What instrument? I always wanted to play flute but never got the chance."
Benjamin looked at her and said ," You still have a chance ! I play a lot , I play piano , violin , guitar and other guitars like bass and electric ".
Madeline nodded, "That's cool, but I don't have time for flute now. And besides, it been scientifically proven that it's more difficult to learn to play an instrument as an adult than as a kid. Since I'm in college I'm technically an adult. I have no musical background. I can't even sing."
Benjamin looked at her and said wisely ," If you want to do it , you can , you can stick to it . Music isn't a chore , it's a privilege . So if you don't feel like you will work for it , don't do it . But if you want it , if you really want it , then do it ". He shrugged and grinned at her . Because he wanted her to do what she wanted , because they only have one shot .
She shook her head, "If I had the option when I was younger, maybe. Now, nah. I just don't have time to balance classes, studying, AND learning to play a flute."
Benjamin shrugged and said ," That's understandable ". He lay on the floor and sigh ."How come you've always wanted to play the flute ? Is it significant to you ?". He wanted know , because most people chose common instruments .
"Not really. It just kinda sounded pretty too me," Madeline shrugged.
Benjamin tilted his head back and laughed at her careless shrug and her facial expression . He nodded and said ," That's cool ".
"What's so funny? Do I have lipstick on my teeth or something?"
Benjamin shook his head and smiled ," No , no you don't . It was just the way you said it and your expression ". Benjamin then lay on the floor with his hands behind his back .
She hung over the side of the bed and looked at him, "Whatever."
Benjamin looked at her with a smile , and a glistening sparkle in his eyes . He moved closer to the bed and then grabbed Madeline's wrist , he pulled on it which made her fall softly next to him and tucked in his arm .
She landed with a grunt and a thud. She turned to lay her head on his chest, "Ouch. You could have tried to catch me." but she was just teasing.
He laughed slightly and apologised ," I'm so sorry ". He smiled and then pulled her closer , making her tuck into his arm like he was cradling her. He sighed and looked to the side of him to look at her .
She met his eyes with hers. She leaned in letting their noses touch.
Benjamin leaned in deeper so that their foreheads were touching and their eyes met , he stared deep into her mesmerising eyes and smiled unknowingly . Everything was so ...perfect .
She felt lost in the maze that was his eyes, surrounded by an emotion so strong it felt tangible, but she couldn't name it. It made her heart pound. She found herself not wanting to move. Never wanting to forget.
Benjamin stared into her eyes , unable to look or move away at all . She looked so different , more radiant and more ravishing . He could feel her breathe slightly and felt like he could just take her away then and there . He looked down at her lips as their noses and foreheads touched . But then he looked back up in her eyes and smirked warmly , he said softly ," You always do that ".
Benjamin grinned sleepily and then still looked into her eyes , he said softly ," You always do this thing with your eyes , and it's so mesmerising and breath taking that I can't seem to look away".
She blushed, biting her lip, "What thing?"
Benjamin smiled as she blushed , because it warmed his heart and she looked cute . He shook his head softly making his forehead and nose brush against hers . He replied softly ," I don't even know, and I love the fact that you don't know your doing it either ".
She blushed deeper, "Is it getting lost in yours? They are like a maze."
Benjamin blushed , which he didnt do often . He smiled and said softly ," Like yours too ". Because he honestly felt like he was drowning in them .
Benjamin smiled back at her , his forehead touching hers and his nose touching hers , they were pretty close. He didnt know if he should kiss her or not . He just looked into her eyes because this moment was perfect .
She wondered if she should get closer or if that would ruin it.
Benjamin literally couldn't hold himself back anymore , after feeling her skin on his and her breath on his lips he kissed her softly . He turned his head to the side slightly so that she was more comfortable, but he kissed her softly and gently , moving his lips in sync with hers.
She kissed back enjoying the moment. If he hadn't she probably WOULD have. But she liked it more this way.
He pulled her closer while he continued to kiss her ,wanting and needing more . He wrapped his arms around her in a secure manner and kissed her softly . Enjoying every bit of it and hoping that she was too .
She cupped his face pulling him closer. She was definitely enjoying it as much as him. She needed more.
