Jon (jonmoss) Posting this a bit early. The Path of Daggers is a little shorter than most of the other Wheel of Time novels and I hope to squeeze in New Spring before December.

Spoilers are allowed for all previous novels in this series and up through the end of Chapter 14. Please mark any spoilers that may refer to a future event.

Jon (jonmoss) Finished Chapter 14 yesterday.

We started this section with four chapters from Perrin's point of view.

Any thoughts on the rescue of the 'simple country woman'? And Faile's generosity?

Then we switched to Servanna and the Shaido for a chapter. Thoughts on the binder and Galina?

Then we jumped to Cadsuane meeting Sorilea. I highlighted several things in this chapter. Lots of tidbits for the close reader.

And we rounded out the section for two chapters from Rand's point of view. He let slip his vision to clean the male half of the One Source.

I'm quite busy today prepping my kitchen for some remodeling work scheduled for tomorrow. I might get the next section read this week, but I don't have high hopes. Too much happening in the next ten days.

Alex | 104 comments The Seanchan need to hurry up and run into some main characters again and have Mat finally meet his Daughter of the Nine Moons they're always hinting at. I didn't understand anything about Rand's plan to clean it other than the Ashaman reporting the strange saidin where the bowl was. It's hard to tell if he wants to kill them because he's crazy or because they are or some combination or maybe Lews Therin is just creeping into his head without him noticing.

I also like how the weather in the books is almost perfectly following the weather here. When we started they were in the middle of a winter that lasted longer than usual and then summer came for them and me and it was much longer and hotter and now winter is coming back.

Lots of hinting around but not much actually happening, although I was surprised at the queen swearing fealty to Perrin.

Heidi I am enjoying this book a lot more than I thought I would so far. Maybe because I don't remember a lot of the stuff that happens even though I've read this book before. Perrin running into Morgase was a big surprise! I can't wait to see how that turns out.
