I love that quote!

It has been really interesting when looking through all my surveys that the answers to the question of your favourite Jane Austen quote has not produced a few in particular which were said over and over - the range of quotes is vast and proves just what a wonderful and talented author Jane Austen was!

What fateful words are those...

message 122: by Marcy (new)

Marcy (marshein) You know, I don't know if this is from a book, but it's attributed to Jane:

A large income is the best recipe for happiness I ever heard of.--Jane Austen

message 123: by Marcy (last edited Mar 01, 2014 08:03PM) (new)

Marcy (marshein) Alice wrote: ""When I fall in love, it will be forever." -Marianne Dashwood"

Maybe Stevie Wonder also reads Austen: he wrote "When I Fall In Love With You It Will Be Forever."

message 124: by SM (new)

SM Pride and Prejudice is my all time favorite book so I am a little biased.

"You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you." - Mr. Darcy, Pride and Prejudice

I melt every time I read this part.
