I remembered some books I'd read a few years ago that some of you may like. They are by
and they are the "sisterchicks" series. She's a christian lit writer and these books are great. They are about adventures that friends go on all over the world. Fun series, and you can read them in no particular order.
I made a new list to list all Regency,Georgian,Edwardian and Victorian Romances that are clean.Feel Free to add to it.MUST be clean.http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/27...
Hilary Mantel's "Wolf Hall" and "Bringing up the Bodies". Enthralling if you're into history and Anne Boylen.PS Would it be very bold to recommend books I've written? They are all set in Ireland....
"Only a Paper Moon": WWII romance"Catch the Magpie": Witchy mystery
Both set in West Cork. Available on Amazon --> Tina Pisco
Thanks!

I didn't think that "Bodies" deserved the Booker as much as "Wolf Hall" did ,but I enjoyed it all the same. It was mainly because I wanted to read the rest of the story (which was fascinating as the first). I look forward to the next book. The evolution of all the characters is masterful ( Cromwell, Anne B and Henry) in both novels.
ah okay so Wolf Hall is the first book and Bringing Up the Bodies is the 2nd? I didn't realize it was a series. Good to know :-)
Well I'm definitely going to look into Wolf Hall then. Thanks. I love tudor history and King Henry VIII.
I love Tudor historical fiction. my favorites are by Jean Plaidy, Deborah Merroff, and SANDRA BYRD!!!
I love Philippa Gregory and Allison Weir. Allison is also the historian that Hampton Court Palace uses. Oh and the Tower of London as well I believe.
I just bought a REALLY old book from an antique store- Patty Blossom. it looks sweet. kind of like a Louisa May alcott.

It is a good list. I've read the City of Bones series - Loved it. Haven't done the follow up yet (clockwork prince etc). I haven't read Divergent yet either but it sounds good. oh and the Iron King looked good too.Just haven't been reading as much lately but want to get back into it after the holidays.
