Bloodlines
question
As good As V.A?
Trying to choose if Vampire Academy is better than Bloodlines is like trying to choose if dark chocolate is better than light chocolate. Both series are scrumptiously amazing in their own different ways.
Rose is a daring, smart-mouthed type of heroine while Sydney is always calm and composed and thinks before she acts. Dimitri is the mysterious, bad-ass man while Adrian is the deliciously arrogant and cocky bad boy.
So the end line: Read Bloodlines, if only for the sake of Adrian.

I think it's even better... WAY BETTER :D
Different point of view, more romance, less Strigoi.
Plus you get to know all about Adrian, Eddy, Jill and Sydney (you know, the people who got screwed over by Rose)

I like Bloodlines better but then I much prefer Sydney to Rose so it's obvious that I would. :P
Well I only read the first one in bloodlines, and her books usually don't start getting really good until a couple books in, so right now I would have to say V.A. but it could very possibly change
I liked Vampire Academy better so far. I only read the first book in the bloodlines series, and it was good. I liked rose and Dimitri so I was happy when Dimitri came in the end of the book. But, poor Adrian!
In the beginning it bugged me to read but this world with no Rose or Dimitri in it. But Richelle Mead is fantastic in overall plot development!
And from the second book The Golden Lily it was amazing!!!

I preferred VA over bloodlines but have only read the first book in the bloodlines and haven't had the urge to continue with them just yet. I prefer Rose Over Sydney too.
Hmm...I'm more like Sydney, but I just love Rose...
Dimitri is intense and amazing, but Adrian is sweet and hilarious...
The point of this story is to pull a different perspective to Rose's - Rose is sassy, sweet, stubborn, impulsive, self-confident, dedicated...but down to earth and serious when she wants to be...
Sydney however is almost opposite - she's serious, dedicated, smart, self-conscious, almost child-like in some aspects...
They both have similarities and differences...and the point of Bloodlines is to pull those differences out, and mix a whole new story...
they're both great stories, and I love them both...but for different reasons...just like I do Rose/Dimitri, and Sydney/Adrian...

Unfortunately, I really did not click with the story, plot, or characters. I loved Adrian and Eddie but they seem forced...IMO
VA is better, I prefer Rose to Sydney but bloodlines isn't bad, for me, Adrian is better than Dimitri
