Po, love ko din si Murakami. 2000-2004 was my Murakami phase. Must read his books again this year. Haven't read Kafka on the Shore and Norwegian Wood yet. I'll start with those.

I love Dance Dance Dance and Kafka on the Shore!
It is indeed cool to find fellow Filipinos for a site like this. A lot of good books posted and some are hard to find here in the Philippines. Keep on reading.

Weh? Po di nga? kelan ba tayo next magkikita? discuss natin bakit sinabi mong parang Coelho/Dan Brown sya. Kapag asa dance, dance, dance na ako, ikaw tatanungin ko for reference ha.
On a different topic, Po, kaw ba si Casper dafrenlyghost na nagiinvite sa akin sa FB?
Hello! Name is Kim. Not exactly recently new just my first time to post a comment here.I'm not sure how to describe myself except I love to read. I just wish I have more time to do so and more money to buy more. LOL!
Books I like? It's hard to say. I hate choosing. There's always something in every book that I find special no matter the flaws. I read all books I find interesting and books suggested by people and friends
Right now I have a list of "to-read" list that keeps on piling up. It's like for every book I finish reading, I add 5 or 10 books in it.
Anyway, I was thinking of reading all comments here so I could read others personal introductions but there were so many conversations I got lost. Hahaha!
Nice to meet you all. ^_^
Ranee wrote: "Hi fellow Murakami fan! I'm about to start the Rat Series care to join me read it? (Pinball, Hear the wind sing, wild sheep chase and dance, dance dance)"Hi Ranee! I'm currently reading "Pinball, 1973". I'm actually done reading Hear the Wind Sing, A Wild Sheep Chase and Dance Dance Dance. And yeah, I read the Rat Trilogy/Series out of order. :))
Dana wrote: "Hi Kim! :-hh We are sooo alike. Broke because of books. :( You also like talking it seems. =)))) lol, jk. I want to be your friend. :D"LOL! I don't exactly like talking. But I do talk a lot for things I am passionate about. And well, since it's an Introduction thread, I thought I should add something more than a simple Hello. ^_^
And thank you for all the welcomes! ^_^
KIM: Welcome to our group! I want to be your friend too! (More likely, be your uncle-friend siguro ha ha)

And thank you again sa mga nag-welcome. ^_^

Hi. I'm Kate. 17. And well.. I love reading, obviously. I read mostly about murderers and crimes. :)
Dra. Ranee: Yes, Naermyth is great. I think I gave 4 stars to it!Hi Kate! Welcome to our group! Hope you can join the 5th Meet Up next month!

kuya doni july 29 is friday? july 30 is saturday? which is which?
Sorry. Wrong Date. Typo. Should be July 23.Charles! Now I remember you. When I saw your profile and complete name in the friend invite. I still remember your old avatar.
I became Jzhun's co-moderator last year. Marco became busy with his studies and Jzhun needed a partner. Marco did not object. So, here I am.
I still remember that Marco used the following criteria in order to determine who should be his co-moderator: # of messages posted and # of books.
Check these two criteria. I topped both of them ha ha. Wala lang. Adik ako sa GR. Wala na ngang time may FB and Tumblr. :)
WELCOME BACK and hope you can be active again. When I joined, there were around 500 members. Now we are 1,200+. We are also meeting up and the one in July will be our 5th. There have also been mini-meetups for book hunting, book swap, movie, coffee discussions, inuman, MIBF, etc. And we had an out of town trip too!
Hi Charles, welcome to GR-Filipinos and thanks for the add! Hoping you can attend the next meet-up with the rest of other GR members. Hehe.
Ysabel: BS has many outlets in Manila: SM MOA, SM Manila, SM San Lazaro, SM Harrison Plaza and there is also one at Robinson's Place.
Charles: Pakiramdam ko magiging friends kayo ni Kwesi at ni Rollie. Reason: you are all from the South and you all love the similar books! Good luck. If you are looking for friends who love to read and book hunt, join us in our July 23 meet up.
Wala. Just go there and be your friendly self. Marami na kaming classic "attitudes" of a newbie. Yon bang first meetup nila. Like si Sheryl, na di nagsasalita pagpasok ng room. ha ha. O si Angus with his "pede ba akong maki-join dito" sinagot sya ni Kwesi na "hindi, hindi" ha ha
Wahahaha! Muntikan na akong magtambling on the spot, haha.

Baka mag-cameo appearance ako sa meet-up. My seminar is at Ortigas Building lang. Crossing my fingers.
