Hello I'm Angelle 19 years old from La Union, napapasyal na ako dati dito sa goodreads, nagbabasa ng mga quotes from Mr. Nicholas Sparks' books and Sir Paulo Coelho's.I love reading books, especially fictions and history.
It feels so nice to be here.
:)

I heard UP Diliman is leasing the lands the one that has the damuhan and heading towards the Iglesia ni Cristo before Tandang Sora. Too bad, I like seeing the damuhan there, kind of like a throwback look you know. "Oh definitely! :)
Really? I should ask my brother about that. He's still in UP.
Btw, Ken, you're from NY? I spent some time up there also. Mostly UES Manhattan area. :)
Welcome po! Enjoy!@Angelle, Ilocano/a ka mét? Hehe. Nakakaintindi lang pero 'di nakakapagsalita masyado ng Ilocano. Hehe.
Hello everyone!I'm JJ 17 yrs. old from Makati. :) I love reading books. Mostly Fiction, quest or romance ung mga binabasa ko. Sana madami akong maging Friends dito.
God Bless! :)
Hello and welcome, that bit with the holes was entertaining.
Wow ha, She I was totally entertained when I read your long intro. So far you have the longest introduction! Bravo! Niyahaha! Welcome to GR!
Hi She. Welcome to the group! I can relate to the sticking needles part but not to the sticking my fingers to holes. LOL.
Hi, Everyone. Where to start... I stumbled on one of K.D.'s reviews where he mentioned that there is Filipino group here at Goodreads. That got me excited. My goodreads name is obviously not my real name but I wanted something Pinoy and exotic sounding (lol), but now that all of you here can understand what it is, it just sounds cheesy. My name does start with a C and I'm Bicol borne and grown, though my parents hail from other provinces.
Between a job, hubs and kids, I try to find time to read and that's why I really appreciate my Nook. I'd like to think I'm open to reading any genre. Well, except horror (patawad po). Nothing against it, I'd just have a hard time sleeping.
It's nice to be here and I hope to be more acquainted with all of you.

Hello ate She, I'm from La Union din po hehe :) Welcome to good reads, I enjoyed reading your introduction, especially this part: "My dream house consists of a library where I can read all day while my husband voluntary does the house chores and serve me coffee once in a while"
Sheer wrote: "Hello everyone! Ako po si She. I'm from Baguio City but I'm living in San Fernando, La Union now.

Hello, mga kabayan. I'm Jim Pascual Agustin, currently living in South Africa. I have two books of poetry recently released by the University of Santo Tomas Publishing House -- ALIEN TO ANY SKIN and BAHA-BAHAGDANG KARUPUKAN.I read and write poetry mostly, in both English and Filipino. I also do translations.
I am active in the Poetry! discussion boards here.
Maybe one day some of you can read and review my books - I can't even physically promote them in the Philippines obviously.
Hi Jim, welcome to GR-Filipinos. I'm not really a fan of reading poetry but I read some like Neruda.
Kwesi, my books should be available in most National Bookstore outlets. Phone or email them first, just to make sure. I know that Solidaridad Bookshop in Malate, Manila definitely has them, so does the bookshop at Filipinas Heritage Library in Ayala. Thanks for the interest. The blogs for the books are:
www.alientoanyskin.wordpress.com and www.karupukan.wordpress.com
JIM and MIA: Welcome! Enjoy your stay (make it forever).JIM: I'll watch out for your book (but your name does not look familiar I would say).
MIA: That's not too late. Happy reading!
