A highschool student, currently at Third year highschool. I mostly read Young Adults and Middle Grade genre, but sometimes I read children's books. The one like Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book. Hindi yung may pop-up pa sa book na limang page lang. Haha! I also like dystopians like The Hunger Games.

I share to you how my reading passion all started. Nung first year ako, whew, mahilig yung Social Studies teacher namin na hingin mga opinion sa mga current events sa Pilipinas. Nahihiya ako kapag ako na, pero kapag nagsimula na ako, ayoko ko ng umupo, hahah baliw? She told me that I'm a good speaker, she guessed that I might also be a good reader. But then I said NO. Nagulat siya kung panu ko daw nakuha ang talent sa pagbibigay ng opinions if hindi naman daw ako nagbabasa masyado. Then she started to introduce me with some YA novels, Then taa-daa....nahiligan ko ng magbasa.

Kahit na mahilig akong magbasa, addict din ako sa internet, haha, kaya palagi akong napapagalitan.

One thing that might be a hindrance with my reader passion is MONEY! I never told my parents that I love reading, but I think the pile of books in my bedroom make it so obvious. I'm shy to ask for some bills to buy some books, so mostly my books came from my baon. Sometimes, from gifts. Wala na kasing libre naun! haha

Na-eenjoy ako dito sa site nyo, lalo na nung nagbabasa ako ng mga ibng intro, ang jo-jolly ng members. LOL

Hi Ivan welcome to GR-Filipinos. =) I agree with yah, I want to buy lots and lots of books, but then I don't have much money. I ask my mom and dad to buy me books naman. Pakapalan na lang ng mukha hehe. They've always been supportive with my passion. Because they know this is something I cannot get rid off easily. I started reading when I was 3. Haha

Oh BTW we have this christmas party coming up. It's on the 18th and we would love if you could come. It'll take place at the UP technohub. We have kris kringles and stuffs. So let us know if you wanna join.

Im Sarah. I'm taking up Nursing sa Unibersidad ng Sto. Tomas. At nanlalamig ang kamay ko. Haha. Parang getting to know you lang sa first day ng class. Feeling ko ako lang ang kabado at namumutla. :)) Anyway, matagal na ko sa Goodreads pero d ako masyadong active. Browse browse lang nang mga books na pwedeng basahin.

Pero nalaman kong madami pa lang Pinoy dito kaya heto ako ngayon nagtatype. haha. Mahilig na talaga akong magbasa noon. Kahit ano, catalogues, magazines. Imbes na skimming lang ng mga pictures e pati mga nakasulat binabasa ko. Hindi suportado nang parents ko ang love ko for books kaya maswerte nung gradeschool at highschool kasi maganda ang library namin sa school. Lahat nang books meron. Meron pa nga kaming SRLP every Friday that's why required talaga na humiram sa library. Ang tanging books sa aking collection ay Harry Potter and Percy Jackson series. (actually, proud na proud na ako dun. Haha)

Ngayon, I don't have time to read anymore. During sembreaks na lang. Kaya nga tambay mode lang ako sa bahay every vacation. Pero happy pa din.

yun lang. napahaba pala ang aking intro. :) I am looking forward on meeting new friends here.

I have classmates who're from Southern Leyte and some are from Mindanao as well. For six years that we've been together, syempre naintindihan ko sila pero di talaga ako marunong magbisaya... gamay ra. lol
