Someday, if you plan to visit Manila, tell us in advance so we'll see if we have an event where you can participate in.

Okay so I'm new here. :) Btw I am Greyz. I have been a book lover since my elementary days but I just became serious with it a couple of years ago. I read a wide range of books - I don't restrict myself to genre - so I am kinda lost of categorizing myself. I admit that I only favor a few authors so joining this group is a way for me to know new authors or must haves so I can expend my book collection.A little something about me:
- I am only 23 years of age.
- I love bargain books, especially when I buy a good book for a cheap price. (booksale fanatic)
- I recently favor hard bound books over paperback. So majority of my collection is still paperback but I am planning to go for hard bounds.
- My favorite trilogy is the Lecter series, also super love the movie.
- I love series, dunno why. :)
- Ironically I have a really Short term Memory. Literally. I forget something even after 5 minutes. So I don't really remember every book I've read, I just know I read them because of the cover. I'm the lamest person for book discussions. :) Pity.
Ohh I also maintain a blog but it's not dedicated to book reviews - YET! :p
so i guess that's it for now. I hope I'll meet new people in this group. Really want to meet new minion errr friends. :p

Bago palang po ako dito sa Goodreads, at sa kakahanap ko nang mga kababayan na nandito sa goodreads nakita ko ang grupong ito. ( I am new to Goodreads and in search for co-Filipinos I finally found this group.)
35 years old, may asawa napo at dalawang anak. Nagtatrabaho po sa isang ahensya ng ating gobyerno.(35 years old, married with two kids. Working in one of the agency of the Philippine Government)
Ang hilig ko po ay magbasa nang kahit anong klasing libro na sa palagay ko ay makapagbigay nang kasiyahan sa akin pero hindi ko talagang matanggihan ay ang pagkahilig ko sa tula. ( I love to read any kinds of book that I think could give happiness to me but I can't really deny my passion for poetry)

Hi Xilu. well of course smelling comes after reading the summary yung tipong, should I buy this or not moment, it's the distinct smell of the book that actually drives me to go buy it.but if it's a Haruki Murakami book, no smelling needed, buy na agad!
