Well, let me see, Cienne, I'm guessing that you either work for Bridges or Goodwill bookstore. You are on a brink of remodelling your bookstore (send me a private message if I get it right).
It will be too sad to know that these 2 bookstores are really closing.
I wished I could send my resume too, but I can't my job/career is full time already, it's eating more than 24 hours of my time.

ACE: Here's the drawback of it. You haven't read it yet and if I finished reading and it turns out to be a really really great read and I would be able to make a good review, ofcourse it will make you want to read it. It's either you will ask me to return it or you'll be all altruistic about it and buy another one in which will be a guilt for me. See? Just let my buy it. :)

Well... i could say i'm not totally a book addict myself but when i see a good book i can be hook at it for a day...


I started reading good books when i was young and lost momentum and hook on computer games but recently i finding my old self again...

No offense on buying real books but hope e-books counts right... hehehehe... please spare me coz gezzzz... i can read in the dark ... just a full battery in the cellphne and a big kb and i can go along way till i get to sleep.....

Well I have to thanks Twilight for that ....

I was very hook on the movie so i decided to read the book... and guess what i didn't regret it... 2 1/2 finish ( 3rd & 4th book and draft of midnight sun. ) and after that i was craving for more...


I am having a hard time sleeping at night so think at last find my cure... and since i'm much in to computer and internet ... i try e-books instead... and luckly i find this site who have this wonderful download of e-books... ( clap clap ..eyes wide ... mouth drooling ) and after 2 days find you guys... ( this website of yours ). all the books in here and then i searches in there... wow its all available....


Well i'm so excited to read the books you read already... and find the same adrenaline rush and excitement you been reading...

After reading 27 pages of this introduction thread, I have ended up with a decision to make my own introduction.

it's nice to find a fellow visayan who can speak very lenient tagalog. magwa-1 yr pa lang ako d2 sa manila bcoz i settled down. my hubby's parents are both "bisaya" but they grew up here so di na sila halos nagsasalita ng bisaya, but well enough nakakaintindi naman. ang lalim mong magtagalog, me i'm still learning, napapatulala minsan pag di ko naintindhan. my hubby's teaching me both the uncommon words and the accent as well. an tigas daw ng dila ko hehehe

Now here's one great forum to get hooked into..(again)..
I don't consider myself an addict or fanatic, say i'm versatile. I don't stick to a thing and go gaga with it. But just an exception to reading, it feeds my mind, you get the chance to be the director of what u read, characters show up in your mind ...i love to play with my imagination.

my love for reading started in my primary years where the public library is just a block away from my school. i read when i have the time, but not to the point of hurting my eyes. vision 20/20 still.

a multilingual. can speak bisaya, ilonggo, tagalog, english, a little mandarin and some few arabic words.
a traveler. been to cagayan de oro, davao, bukidnon, bohol, my hometown in negros, iloilo.. now i want to go around luzon, hk, china but never been to the greatwall, and uae.
an art enthusiast. a pet lover. an advocate.

i finished all the 4 books of the TWIGhLIGHT series including the draft of midnight sun in less than 2 weeks, ebook lang sya emailed by a friend from singapore. hindi ko pa natapos yung isang ebook series ng CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC. my favorite of my collections so far is from Paulo Coelho's 11 MINUTES and VERONIKA DECIDES TO DIE. I'm looking forward to get a hard copy of Nicholas Sparks Books as well.

i also got my 6 yr old son to love books. he got used kasi on getting bedtime short reads from me when he was 2 and so until now kahit nasa province sya with lola, my mom is forced to read for him kahit 2-3 pages before he sleeps because he demands for it.

till here...hope to visit again soon!

hello! (ay, dapat ba tagalog?) kamusta? ako si tina (tunay na pangalan, actually maria cristina), last year pa ako nag-member sa goodreads... ngayon lang ulit nakabalik kasi naka-bakasyon (tsaka nagsawa na kaka-facebook). Obviously,mahilig magbasa kaya nga ako nandito. Ok, fast facts:
favorite authors: paulo coelho (halos lahat ng libro nya nabasa ko na); Stephenie Meyer (na-addict talaga ako sa twilight sa hindi ko ma-explain na dahilan); Nicholas Sparks ( ilang beses niya na ako napa-iyak)
favorite books: lahat ng libro ni paulo coelho, twilight, the time traveler's wife, kite runner, a thousand splendid suns, dear john, a walk to remember, the choice, little women,little prince, sophie's world... (medyo marami hindi ko matandaan lahat)... ayun...
ok, english naman... I'm just glad that there's a group of Filipino avid readers in goodreads. For quite sometime, I thought that I will not enjoy this site, because I couldn't find somebody that I could relate to. I was reading some of the previous posts, and for the first time, I felt that I belong...
