Hello po! I'm chel, 24yo from albay. Bago lang s group pero not so much s goodreads. I'm a book lover(xmpre nasa goodreads eh, hehe) and my preferred genres are paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and historical romance. Pero once in a while ngbabasa din ako ng iba to break monotony.

Books that I have read: Anthem, The Alchemist, 1984, The Strangers, The Giver, Romeo and Juliet, The Color of Water, Ibong Adarna, Florante't Laura, Jason and the Argonauts, The Odyssey, The House on The Mango Street, Animal Farm, Night, Extremely Loud Incredibly Close, The Great Gatsby, The Antelope Wife, The Crucible, and Flowers for Algernon.

Books I want to read: To Kill a Mockingbird, Noli Me Tangere, El filibusterismo, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Moby Dick, Scarlet Letter, Cloud Atlas, The Boy in Striped Pyjamas, The Jungle, Water for Elephants, ABNKKBSNPLAko?!, Harry Potter series, Lord of the Flies, The Witch of Portobello, and Kapitan Sino.

Call me crazy, but I want to read all Arthur Conan Doyle books. Yes, the entire Holmes Series.

I was born in Cavite General Hospital in 1996, and grew up at Imus, Cavite.

Again, I am new to reading, and I want to read more books.

Hi, folks! Am new to the group, a fantasy buff and looking for kindred souls. I don't get to read as much as I would want (adult life gets in the way) but I'm always in search for the good stuff. I have to confess that I'm a picky reader and I seem to have set some kind of standard that I'm finding hard to match these days so I'm hoping the group will help me find good leads. :) I also go for graphic novels, sci-fi and the classics but it's fantasy--- swords, shields and magic--- that gets my blood pumping. :) I have recently discovered flintlock fantasy courtesy of newcomer Django Wexler and I have to admit that I enjoyed it and am open to more suggestions.

Recently released Well Played, which is basically Pride & Prejudice in UPLB, and now working on something similar for Jane Eyre. After this I think I'll try a completely different genre naman: dystopian S/F!
