Welcome to Goodreads Jennifaye! ;)
Magkakasundo tayo, I like Peter Mayle and David Sedaris too. I bet you've read Me Talk Pretty One Day? ;) I like stocking up on good reads about travel & food memoirs as well. Stuff that, like you, I'm also passionate about. ;)

Jhumpa Lahiri? I have a hardbound copy of The Namesake which I bought impulsively after seeing the film, which I liked. I have yet to read the book though. I would love to read her Interpreter of Maladies one day. Would you recommend it? ;)

Hi Jeenifaye! Don't worry, your not the only one with the odd name here. 'coz Filipinos, aside from being a bunch of merry folks, are happy and weird peeps too--to say the least. In behalf of Marco, the moderators weclome you with open arms to our humble and ever expanding group!!! ☺☺☺
Like you I like reading weird and bizzare books. I've been collecting some of Dick's books and so far what I got in my TBR pile are The Zap Gun and Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said. As far as weird tales are concerned why don't you try your hand at weird-horror stories, anything by Stephen King is higly-recommended, well if horror and thrillers are up your alley...
Once again a warm welcome for you, Jennifaye...
My warm regards and happy reading!!! ☺☺☺
Speaking of Stephen King. Did anyone watched the Kingdome Hospital series.? He's the writer of that series., And I find it too weird and disturbing.,
Aaron, I've been looking for that series ever since knowing of it... And looks like my suking pirated dvd vendor don't have the title. Well, I'll let you know what my thoughts about the series and let's hope I'll find one in the dark alleys of Hidalgo... Ahehehehehe...
Speaking of series, I'll be watching the 3rd season of Chuck and the 1st Complete Season of Harper's Island... Hop[ing to love the latter one since I'm a fan of mystery-thriller-murder....
Happy Holy Week everyone!!

The problem is the whole season of HI is only equal to one epi of Lost.
Me!Me!
*Raising his hands*
But the i only watched the pilot episode because I'm engrossed at the time to Lost. But I'll pick up from where I left in that series. Chuck's got to do for now.
Creepy Cheers!!! ☺☺☺
@Bluemoon: I'm going to watch the complete third season of Chuck... I admit I got a crsuh on Sarah... if she's going to be my girl then I say I'm the luckiest and darn handsdome nerd there is!!!...or...err... you're refering to Lost or Harper's Island?
Watch How I Met Your Mother or Entourage instead. Holy week is dreadful enough to avoid watching mys-thriller.
Aaron Vincent wrote: "Watch How I Met Your Mother or Entourage instead. Holy week is dreadful enough to avoid watching mys-thriller."@Aaron: I don't consider Holy Week as dreadful. I'm getting my dose of How I Met Your Mother love from Etc. every week and even it's a repeat episode, I just don't care Banrey just makes my day complete...
And dreadful... that words sort of like what you call normal to me... love that word.... ♥♥♥
